Natasha Stark, the woman who is the owner or Stark Industries was in a test flight of her new armor, the Mark XLIII Iron Madlen suit. It looks similar to the Mark VII with a few modifications.

Since her operation, she's no longer in need of an arc reactor in her chest, so each suit is powered by an individual a.r. She spoke with JARVIS, her personal computer that happens to be one of the best AIs on the planet. "Is it ready to go into space?" JARVIS replied. 'WE HAVE NOT TESTED IT YET IN ZERO GRAVITY AND ZERO OXYGEN CONDITIONS.' She nods. "Understood." She increases speed to mach 5.

The suit gains altitude. Four miles, five miles, seven miles, now ten miles above sea level. Natasha's suits never flown so high before. Her other suits would have froze up by now. Now at 50 miles above sea level. 'SUIT IS STILL STABILIZED AND OXYGEN IS STILL AT AN ABUNDANCE LEVELS.' She smiles. "Awesome! Keep going!" She continues to fly until she's now 64 miles, just a bit under two miles higher than one needs to be in space. 'NATASHA, WE'RE NOW IN OUTER-SPACE.' JARVIS reported. "Excellent. Now let's test this suit upon re-entry to see if it will handle the heat."

She makes a noise dive back to Earth. Combine with the suit's flight speed and Earth's gravity, the suit was coming down like a bat out of Hell. The suit was becoming a flying fireball, however the suit and Natasha was intact. Natasha didn't even feel hot. Once she was 20 miles from the surface of the Earth, she fires the retro-rockets. She would then land safely someplace in the Amazon Rainforest.

She then looked around "Jarvis, are you still with me?" 'YES.' She smiled. "Excellent now lets go..." She finds her surrounding changing. She sees herself in a diner. She narrows her eyes. "...home." She would speak to JARVIS."You still with me Jarvis?" 'I AM. BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE. I DO NOT READ YOU ANY PLACE ON EARTH.' Natasha's slightly nervous. The last person who was capable of such travel nearly destroyed New York, though thanks to her and the Avengers, they prevented that. She nearly had a panic attack, but she calmed herself. "Get a grip, Nat." She said to herself.

She then removed the suit by activating a mechanism that made the suit collapse off of her and folded into a briefcase-like object with a handle. She was now in a black pin-striped femme-suit with a white blouse under it and black high heels. She slips on her glasses and picked up her armor briefcase. She walked to the bar of this diner and called out. "Excuse me, but can anyone tell me where I am?"

Clark walks through the doors of the cafe wearing a tuxedo. There was a formal party at the Daily Planet, but Clark felt the need for some fresh air (ironic considering who he was underneath the tuxedo) and somehow he ended up here.

Still wanting that fresh air, he went outside and sat on a bench near an outdoor fireplace. It wasn't lit yet, so he uses his heat vision to light it.

With a content sigh, he leans back and looks up at the night sky.

Some would notice, others wouldn't, but those who did would see one of the shadows around the Cafe grow darker, more fluid. Out of the shadow came the sound of footsteps, like expensive shoes on marble tile, and then the man to whom those footsteps belong.

The man is sharply dressed in business attire, and when he walks into the Cafe, he isn't surprised to be there. In fact, he chuckles to himself as he finds an empty table and seats himself casually.

He mutters, "The more things change.."

Clark enters the cafe in one of his many suits. He had just finished writing up a story on a news conference. He planned on walking out of the Planet and get a bite to eat down the street, but somehow, he ended up in the cafe.

It had been a while since he had been here. With a shrug he takes a seat at a nearby table and takes off his glasses, setting them to the side.

So there once was this girl... ((Kids, we'll give it an R rating for the wtfery & language.))

She was just an ordinary girl who was living in the nexus. She was new to the whole nexus thing, but that wasn't the point. The point was that she was in the cafe for the very first time to meet her new neighbors.
After all, what better way to celebrate perfect humiliation than by getting utterly smashed just to show how it can't get worse?

She'd never been in the cafe before, but she'd heard things from her friend Egon. (Who was not one of the Ghostbusters, despite her name for him.) She knew the rules (good for her) and found a corner table in a nice spot where she could sit against a wall. She liked her back to the wall when she drank. That way when she hit the floor there was a chance the wall could catch her fall. Hey, it made sense to her.

A pretty young waitress came over to take her order and Miki settled on any beer brand they had that was good. She wasn't too picky. Once she got her drink, she took a swig and waited for her neighbors to show up.

((Yeah, expect drunken behavior, bad language, innuendos, not so innuendos...))

Clark enters the cafe wearing his day to day clothes. Not his reporter suit or that other suit he was best known for.

Jeans and a blue t-shirt with a flannel shirt.

He heads inside the cafe's game room and begins to play a game of Guitar Hero.

Clark Kent enters the cafe. Adjusting his glasses he looks around at the cafe. Things seemed the same, yet different. And he couldn't quite place his finger on why.

With a shrug, he takes a seat at the bar.
