Sorry maybe the hardest word, but thanks isn't to easy either...

It‘s all well and good saving the world and all.
Just don’t expect any thanks.
You’d think the people of Fortuna would like to have the guy who saved them use is good strong arm to help rebuild the city.

Or that they would at least tolerate him as long as he made himself useful and Kyrie vouched for him.
It’s not as if people didn’t know who she was; or who he was for that matter.

Nero guessed that past deeds counted for nothing, when your ‘Inhumanity’ was clear for all to see.

Nero ducked into a doorway dragging Kyrie in with him.
“Nero, it’s nothing!” She complained. “Just give me a second to talk sense to them”.

Nero took her face in his hands.

“A black eye is not ‘nothing’.” He said darkly. “And If I don’t get us both out of here right now, Human or not I’m going to give them more than a black eye.”

Kyrie closed her eyes and covered both of Nero’s hands with her own. “But where will we go? Fortuna is all we have left.”

Nero rested his forehead against hers. “I don’t know Kyrie; but we still have each other right?”

“And don’t forget about little ol’ me.”

Nero sighed and looked at the wall opposite the doorway.

“What are you doing here?”

Dante smirked. “I’d just thought I’d see how you were and that’s the thanks I get.”

Kyrie pulled away from Nero but she was smiling. Nero almost considered thanking Dante just for that, it had been days since she had smiled.

“Of course I understand,” Dante clapped a hand over his heart “Wounded pride, being chased out of town and all. You gotta take it out on someone.”

Then again he could just insult him.

“How about you buy us all a couple of pizzas and you can stay at my place?”

Or maybe he could just keep his mouth shut and accept some help with good grace for once.

That's one of the best things you could have said. ^_^ I was worried that poeple wouldn't like him running form a fight.

Hopefully there will be more (But don't hold your breath you know what I'm like.) I just have this idea of Kyrie and Nero staying at Dante's for a while and mayhem insuing. XD (Mostly at Kyrie's expense poor girl XDDD )

	He's not one to run from a fight any more than Dante, but if it would be safer for Kyrie, then I think he would. I think the people of Fortuna would accept him after a while, they worship a demon after all :] But it could be fun to see him holed up with Dante for a while XDD goes back to swapping between DMC 1, 2, 3 and 4 O.O (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	And it's not like he can really fight back against humans, he'd break them to easily. I'm playing though 3 first because that's the one I’ve got the furthest left to go on. (I'm going to end up completing them in reverse order >_< typical me) Dante's weapons in that game are awesome! Hey... I can’t remember did Nero ever find out who Gloria really is? This is very true, they wouldn't stand much of a chance.

Dante's weapons are seriously fun in 3. My fave throughout has always been Rebellion though. But as far as looks, Force Edge is my favourite DMC sword of all time.

Pretty much, Nero was there when Sanctus called Trish 'Gloria', so even though he was incapacitated at the time (iirc), he'd still know roughly what was going on. At least, that's what I think currently without going back over the later cutscenes :]

Rebellion is the easiest to use, and my fav for Dante in 4, but I really like Cerberus and Agni & Rudra I haven't had a chance to fight properly with Nevan but she wins major points for being a guitar! XD
(And Dante isn't losing any of his weapon-sexual points)

Dang, Trish was going to have some fun at Nero's expense. I'll just I'll have to come up with something else.

	Dante and his weapons...XD Personally, if I was going to write Dante/weapon fic, it'd have to be the Ifrit gauntlets tries not to laugh too much Or Nevan, but Nevan goes with anyone. Trish should still have some fun at Nero's expense regardless XD (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Ifirt? o_O Nope not getting any ideas, none at all... I got an idea for Nevan, as part of a larger fic (Nero is going to kill me.) I'm still playing 3 for ideas tho. Trish will still get her moment, but it'll have to be a differnt gag. And my Kyrie muse scares me...No really. (Reply to this) (Parent)
