A new part for Ded fic 1, slight spoilers for Denzel's novella
FINALLY! I know where Reeve is!

Reeve opened his eyes to darkness. He sat up in the still darkness, his black suit was grey with dust. Sparks lit up the gloom and Reeve could see he was underground.
Who knew how much rubble of what used to the sector four plate was above him.

::The possibility of meteor striking Midgar are extremely high
Midgar is not safe.
Immediate evacuation is recommended ::

He had broadcast the evacuation warning, he had seen the people come in droves, rich people of the plates, the huddled masses of the slums, all drawn to the relative safety.
He had been watching for one face, he had been looking for her everywhere, he had tried to phone her to reach her anyway he could. He couldn’t get to the house for all the panic in the streets.

::If you do not think you can evacuate the city before meteorfall take shelter in the slums
The plates are not safe.::

And he had gone looking for her. It was foolish, stupid. He had been safe, and the people had felt safer knowing that he had been there willing to ride out Meteor with them. But the roads were clear and empty now, this was his best chance if only he could reach her in time.

Reeve shook his head, Reno had been at the shelter to, he could look after them.

He had to find the woman who hadn’t come, he had to get to sector five.

Only had hadn’t made it in time. He had seen the life stream rise up, not knowing if it was a good thing or bad, but it was still enough to give him home. He had almost crossed sector four, he could tell the old woman off for not coming to the shelter like he broadcast everyone to do, and then he could introduce her to Marline, Reeve though she would like Marline.

But the sector four plate had shaken with the stress of Meteor above and holy with the lifestream below.
The plate had fallen into darkness taking Reeve with it.

As he started trying to dig himself out he hoped that the sector five plate was still standing. What kind of son would he have been if he had saved hundreds of people only to allow his mother to die?

	I keep wondering what happened to Reeve's dad. I know he had one, because he was at the Honeybee Inn with Reeve's mum when Cloud was in Wallmarket XD Maybe he was killed before during the mako reactor explosions, or sector seven plate falling or something.. I always got the impression Reeve really cared about his parents, which is something I always liked about him. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Did you look through the keyholes? The old couple in one of the rooms. Until someone proves to me it was someone else, we're pretty sure that was Reeve's parents. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	But your not sure? Yeah I looked though the keyholes I remember there was the couple and there was Shinra with his creepy roleplay. I don't remember what the couple said though. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I can't remember if it's ever been categorically stated that it is, but they were talking about thier son, the Shinra executive that was really thoughtful to pay for them to come here etc and so forth. I don't think for one minute it was Heidegger, Scarlet or Palmer XD (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Oh! I just thought of something, if both mother and father were alive when Cait joined the team....well how do you think Shinra convinced Reeve to betray Cloud and the others? No wonder Reeve was so angsty in DoC we've only done a little looking and we've already found heartbreaking stuff like this XD (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That is an interesting point. Shinra could have been hanging something nasty to do with his parents over his head, or something. Or maybe initially he thought it was a good idea to work with Shinra because he was thinking of his parents welfare? There could be allsorts of interesting avenues to take this down. I was thinking that Reeve was okay in following orders up until that point where Marline got involved, and then he said no, Rufus had his father killed and said do it or your mother is next. ;_;

but they were talking about thier son, the Shinra executive that was really thoughtful to pay for them to come here etc and so forth.

That is both sweet, and extreamly perverted. Here mom, dad, have sex in a nice place! I'll give you the money. ^_^
