It's Nano time again!

I can't do that this year since it looks like Trinity is trying to make up for Scarifice's lack of blood shed oO!

Her neck snapped like a dry twig in his claws.

The old grey wolf fell in a heap at his feet. Her name had been Jean, it was on the collar around her neck. just like it his was on the collar around his neck. Around the neck of everyone else in the room.

He backed into the corner of the room as the other wolves ripped each other apart.

He looked up at the control booth, the man who had killed Professor Laufay stood there, having stolen his place. Dressed in the greens of a handler.

His handler.

Freed from one human and now used by another, At least this human had a reason he under stood.

Pack.

One wolf, a big black one, looked up from his kill and turned it’s blood shot gaze to him, blood stained spittle dripping from his lips.

He knew that look, everyone at the other complex looked like that after contamination. It was bloodlust.

Just like - Jean - the other wolf this one wanted blood.

His blood.

It was his blood, his father’s blood, that had started all this.

The other wolf attacked, it was bigger than him, but raging and dumb.

Yet it was still moving to fast for him to grab it’s head and twist.

His claw’s raked the other wolf’s side as he ducked under it’s guard and got behind him, free of the corner. It didn’t matter if he exposed his back to the rest of the room now, everyone else had already killed each other.

The other wolf was even faster in attacking him this time. He didn’t have time to move, he caught the jaws before his throat could be ripped out.

He didn’t want to kill.

He wanted to die even less.

The other wolf battered him with his claws and fists, tried to shake his head free.

Bone gave under his hands as his tightened his grip.

And pulled.

The other wolves lower jaw was pulled free and tossed aside a bloody mess lost to the already gore covered floor.

The other wolf tried to breath but was already choking on his own blood. It’s eyes glassy with shock.

It probably wouldn’t take long for it to die like that. he wouldn’t be surprised if there was more blood spattered on his own fur than in the black wolf’s body

It was difficult with no chin to grip, but he snapped the other wolf’s neck anyway.

Just because he had to kill didn’t mean he had to be cruel, that was the job of those who succumb to Ragnarok. Like Hati and Skoll.

He was just the poor guy who had it in his blood.

The other wolf’s name was Nero.

-- That’s good Managarm, now stand in the corner so we can come in. -- His new handler, Owen, said over a mike.

Managarm done as he was told. Wishing his father would come for him.

He wouldn’t of course.

His father thought he was dead.
