I've noticed a few other people mentioning they will be teaching here at Hogwarts.

Hello, my name is Hermione Granger.

I used to go to Hogwarts and I was a Gryffindor. I would like all prospective Hogwarts students to know that I will be teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts. I have quite a lot of experience in that field, and I also taught a rather hands-on class for it when I was fifteen. Harry was the leader, but we both sort of thought of the idea.

I look forward to seeing you all in class. I will be putting together a lesson plan soon. We'll be starting off relatively simple with defensive spells such as Expelliarmus.

I have a duty to protect my charge at all times.
I can't do that if we are assigned to different Houses.
Is there any way to assure I can be around Lord Ozera consistently?
Strigoi may not be here, but there are always other dangers.
I refuse to let something happen to him.

Is there any help needed in the hospital wing? Madam Pomfrey must be busy with all these newcomers.

Any of you locals have recommendations for books to look into as a starting point for learning this world's history and customs? Because that library is gloriously fucking huge and I want to make sure I've got the basics before I go more in-depth.

And I have to ask, what exactly are the winged dragon-horse things pulling the carriages?
