Weekly Update You guys are amazing. Thank you all for participating in our de-aging plot. We had so much fun, and it was thanks to you guys!
As always, if you have plot ideas, please don’t hesitate to throw them at us! It would be our pleasure to make your plot dreams come true.
Upcoming Plot We shall name this one The Angst Plot.
It will take place April 1st to April 7th. It would therefore be completely understandable if your characters thought this was all some sort of cruel April Fools joke, at first.
Technically, that’s exactly what it is.
Picture two Lockewoods standing side by side. They are identical in every single way; the houses are in the same places, the businesses are in the same places, the lake is in the same place. They are identical.
Except for one important fact; while one is teeming with people, the other is empty.
So what would happen, do you think, if Skeeter were to decide to populate this second Lockewood with half the villagers from the first Lockewood?
Simply put, for a week, Lockewood will be divided into two places. What this means, is that approximately half the current residents of Lockewood will end up in L1, and approximately half will end up in L2. These two divided Lockewoods will not look any different from the Lockewood the residents have come to know. Essentially, it will appear to all residents of Lockewood that half of the villagers have simply... disappeared, been returned home, in some cases, to die.
RULES! (because we need rules...) - No, your brilliant, genius, absolutely unbelievably clever character CANNOT guess or know that this is a ‘parallel universe’ situation. Everyone who has ‘left Lockewood’ has left Lockewood. End of story. - Residents of L1 cannot interact with residents of L2 in any manner (including journals), and vice versa. - Please write either L1 or L2 in the subject line of all journal posts during the week, to simplify matters for the other players -- ie. so that they know whether they can have their character reply to yours or if they cannot. - Because a full half of the residents are missing, house elves will be brought in by Skeeter to fill in the gaps at most businesses, to keep them running. You may NPC them. We’d prefer your characters didn’t take their frustrations out on them through decapitation or other forms of violence, but if that’s what they really need, the elves will simply be replaced. Keep in mind though, your character may get a bill for damages at the end of the month if they choose to go that route. - Characters’ possessions will move with them. They won’t be missing any of their stuff, unless they ‘borrowed’ it from someone who has ‘left the village’. - Characters will wake up Monday morning (April 1st) exactly where they were Sunday night. There isn’t any clue whatsoever that they’ve moved.

New Characters Elphias Doge disappears from the village Monday morning. Let me tell you, I’m heartbroken. Really, though.
