although i've also just posted in ~pbads i wanted to put my feelers out. i've got him fairly figured out but not completely so please hang on for the nonsense i'm about to drop! this is ye-jun woo, he's 23, and has lived all over the world due to his family, started out in japan until he was eight then california followed by new york and now south korea. his mother is a very well known fashion designer and his now (deceased) father was a plastic surgeon. his mother remarried when he was 19 years old to an american sergent major who's currently positioned in the area. during all of this the one constant in ye-jun's life has been figure skating which he has been doing from a very young age, having a shot at the olympics at an early age, ye-jun injured himself and lost out on his shot. he still skates actively but no longer enters competitions and is starting to look into coaching. skate style i'm looking at this video just to give an idea of his skills.
that all said, he isn't a fan of his step-father, he's a work-a-holic aka he's always practicing and working out, he's friendly but is weird about really connecting due to his focus being elsewhere and always being taken away from friends, he has never been in a relationship (unless you count that one time he had to pretend to be in one for a play), he loves the paranormal, is multilingual and at times finds himself thinking in one language and speaking in another which often leads to humorous mistakes, he attended one year of college before moving to seoul and hasn't attended since. more to come on this front!
honestly i'd love people he knows/had connections with from anywhere he has lived in the past, online friends, fellow skaters, someone who might be his protégé? a roommate, someone determined make that connection with him, people to break him away from working, family on his mother's or father's side, anything at all!
