Completed/Continuing Open Threads:

Liane Malfoy sends Michel a very personal reply to his letter; Lavinia Scalara is amused, but the conversation she and Michel have takes a sombre turn. (Closed and complete.)
Gabriel de Valois is concerned about Séverine Black de Malfoy, and uncertain of his probable fate in Britannia; Séverine is still in a very bad mood, but they're finally going to get the hell out of Calais. (Closed and complete.)
Callista Lovelace thinks things haven't improved as much as they need to at Hogwarts, despite Goyle's best efforts. Her friends Mercuria, Dio and Jon try to cheer her up a bit. (Closed and complete.)
New Posts:
Paul Pettigrew offers to help Filius Flitwick with his prefecting duties.
Eliot Gardiner asks Kyteler to consider allowing Joachim Piccard to work for him in the War Bureau without reading his mind first, because they need his skills so badly.
Constable Forrester lets Endymion know that he was right about Gilderoy Lockhart.
Michel Rosenthal responds to Liane Malfoy's latest letter.
Filius Flitwick accepts Paul Pettigrew's offer of help.
David Locke hopes that the War Bureau can recruit Léo Szilárd, and is embarrassed at having misspoken himself to Howard Lovelace. He still hasn't heard from Rob Mitchell.
Rob Mitchell finds himself in a delicate situation behind enemy lines.
Jameson Wilkes finds himself in the embarrassing situation of having to suggest a course of action to Isaac Diggory that he knows Diggory will hate, and Naszvadi Lili is not being helpful.
Dracaena Malfoy is worried about her family.
Yvon Malfoy writes to Kat Lovegood, mostly about her brother Bill.
Edmund Diggory convinces his former fiancée, Josette Cooper, to go to the infirmary and talk to someone about her experiences with Professor Bettony and the incubus.
Dr Wilkes writes to Dracaena to tell her to expect to receive Isaac Diggory.
Susie Kyteler writes to Jack to come and meet her so they can break up in person.
Isaac Diggory writes to Dracaena to tell her he's not pleased with Wilkes' idea.
Gabriel de Valois is very unsettled to find himself on a boat that may not even still be in the real world--and if not, where has it gone, anyway?
The Malfoys have returned to Hogwarts. Liane Malfoy and Valeria Zabini are sorted at luncheon, but Moruith myr'Steren is not. Kat and Lucius are reunited. Callista Lovelace breaks down, and her brother Ambrose and cousins Martial and Mercuria take her somewhere else. Colette Saint-Germain is not pleased to see Liane. Ianthe Pritchard and Arianwen Rosier are not pleased with Colette Saint-Germain, or Aurélien Jeannot. Moruith impresses Ianthe. Liane makes her peace with Reynard Saint-Germain; Reynard's girlfriend, Felicity Greengrass, is not happy about it. (Closed and complete.)
Colette Saint-Germain's ugly story about Liane is being repeated. When Benito Quirke overhears it, he is moved to action...but of what sort? (Closed and complete.)
Liane Malfoy unburdens herself to Michel Rosenthal.
Mindred Farryll thinks her sister Estrid should warn people about the dreams she's had about Hogwarts Castle.
Horace Rookwood, Colette Saint-Germain's fiancé, is worried about her, and thinks that maybe she and Aurélien Jeannot are becoming a little too close lately.
Celerity Warrington has a lot to say about the situation in Slytherin, but she doesn't think anyone will like hearing it much, so she's keeping it all to herself for now.
Meghan Owens is beginning to suspect that she may have been Obliviated.
Lucius Malfoy would like some private time with Kat Lovegood, so he can give her his presents without being teased, and so that they can discuss their own private griefs without offending Callista.
Moruith myr'Steren admires Ianthe, and is beginning to understand her brother Keresek a little better--much to her own consternation.
Dracaena Malfoy helps Isaac Diggory come to terms with Wilkes' proposed temporary solution to their problems--which, from her point of view, has a number of distinct advantages.
Dracaena Malfoy solicits Lucius' opinion on the matter at hand, while warning him not to get overexcited just yet.
Jenny Moody is annoyed that Fiammetta Kyteler is not speaking to her, and disappointed in Liane.
Rachel Zeller doesn't like what people are saying about Alden's cousin Michel, and has taken action to ensure that it doesn't get back to the rest of the extended family.
Susie Kyteler wishes she had better dating prospects, and will miss the sex with Jack.
Liane Malfoy desperately wants out of Hogwarts.
Benito Quirke desperately wants to talk to Liane, but is afraid that he won't be able to, as for all her brilliance she is a girl who is neither Katya nor Melly.
Michel Rosenthal is appropriately sympathetic to that girlfriend he doesn't believe he has.
Liane Malfoy, accompanied by Moruith, her cousin Charis, and a few of the fans she doesn't know she has yet, tells Colette Saint-Germain and Aurélien Jeannot off during tea in the Snake Pit. A few people lose points for inappropriate language at House tea. Amalthea Flint decides she's had enough and convenes a meeting of the Slytherin girls' prefects with Liane and Colette. Liane wins. Charis doesn't, entirely. Ianthe Pritchard takes Colette aside to help her get control of herself. Meanwhile, the gossip continues as Patty Rosier and Maeve Pritchard try to make sense of it all. Valeria also tells off Aurélien. Horace Rookwood, Reynard Saint-Germain and Austin Parkinson discuss what should be done about Colette and Aurélien. Dimity introduces Valeria to the boys, and Olive Hornby and Edouard Lestrange introduce themselves to Valeria after Dimity goes off with Horace (presumably to talk about Colette). Valeria comes up with a good lie to explain her engagement to Alessio. Austin Parkinson comes to a few unpleasant realisations. Arianwen chats with everyone, and then Valeria takes an interest in Tom Riddle. Lucius Malfoy does not understand why this bothers him.(Closed and complete.)
Liane Malfoy is very relieved. And sleepy.
Some of the Ravenclaw boys speculate as to the reasons for the bizarre behaviour of Aurélien and Claire Jeannot. Their conclusions are disturbing. (Explicit language, frank discussion of possible sexual abuse.)
Jack Randall is relieved that Susie is taking their breakup well.
Everett Meriwether gets a letter from home.
Charis Malfoy lets Liane nap, while wondering what Laurie Foggington did to get himself in trouble.
Valeria Zabini informs those members of her family who aren't at school of the lie she's using to explain her engagement to Alessio, so they can hopefully all keep their stories straight.
Naturally, Liane's first act on being awakened to get ready for supper is to write Michel another letter, because they're totally not involved or anything.
At least one of the Slytherin girls thinks Valeria is an incredible slut. Possibly Liane is not the missing operator in the conservation of harlotry equation after all!
Felicity Greengrass confronts her own jealousy.
Colette Saint-Germain still hates Liane Malfoy, whether or not she was ever a willing collaborator.
New Journals:
None this time.
Here's the list of who's where on Insane Journal.
Renamed Journals:
None this time.
New Graphics:
Rob Mitchell, David Locke, Liane Malfoy and Vince Rosenthal all have new userpics.
Please be patient with us as many of the new journals are not yet set up and do not yet have proper layouts. I'm 2/3 way done with my own and then I'll be able to help other people. Once all the old journals are laid out at all, new layouts will again be noteworthy.
Under New Management:
There are a lot of characters that are currently open. Check out the Adoptable Characters page for descriptions of the kinds of adoptions that are open and lists of characters available for each. If you are not sure, ask. :)
