I'm on the hunt I'm after you Who: Jesse Where: The hotel When: Around 9am
The loud chime in the silence of her room woke Jesse up from her sleep rather rudely. Jesse tossed and turned, trying to reach for the phone, one eye open. It was a message from Harrison; very little punctuation and a heavy cloud over her eyes made it hard for her to understand it at first, but once she rubbed her eyes and yawned again twice, she was able to read it properly.
He'd had to leave town, on a wild search for some case he had made a breakthrough on. There went her one link to this town as well as her one source of information. However, he had mentioned in the text that he had left her something down in the hotel reception. Jesse was curious, excited even; maybe he had found something in regards to her brother's whereabouts. Jumping off the bed, Jesse did not bother unwrapping her hair before, in her pajamas, racing out of her room with her card in hand.
The elevator wasn't being forthcoming, so Jesse trotted down two flights of stairs, arriving at the reception red in the face and out of breath.
In her name was an envelope with what looked like pictures - copies of the faerie lights pictures, she wagered - as well as a login and password, which Jesse then found belonged to a private cloud storage which contained, according to Harrison, a lot of his research that wasn't in the blogs. It wasn't concrete information on one Devon Talbot, but it was something.
Thanking the receptionist Jesse trotted back up to the elevator, envelope in hand. She was going to spend a good few hours sifting through all the info. And hey, maybe she could pick up on some of Harrison's loose ends. Picking up her phone again, Jesse texted Harrison back: 'Take care, don't get yourself killed. Thank you for the info. xx Jesse'
Then, Jesse pulled her laptop onto the bed. Time to go hunting.
