Talking to Fern last night, I realized that we have at least two "time travelers" from the past among the patients now. Armand doesn't know how he got here, but he'll cope. I like doing this confusing stuff to him.
I think Raskolnikov has a little lead on him in understanding some tech, especially since the asylum is relatively simple at a 1955 level, but even radios and light bulbs mystify Armand, and I haven't gotten into his opinion of machined metal and modern glass and such. I don't know if it would be a plot if no one else wants to get involved, but I thought it would fun if Armand and Rodia (Rodya?) agreed to trade notes, which would lead to two patients examining anything that looks strange and trying to memorize or note down (if they have regular paper and pencil/pen journals) what things are and how they work. I talked to Fern a little bit last night about them at least trading notes, so that might work even if no one else cares.
Anyone want to interfere, think they're strange, stand back and laugh, round them up and give them lengthy explanations?
