Hey folks,

Fern here with my second character. I bring to you, the Master as a patient. His history and stuff can be found in his journal if you're interested or even unfamiliar with his fandom. Doctor Who, by the way. =)

I'm looking for storyines for the Master, people to rp with ideas. All that jazz.

I'm also looking for a scene for Rodya Raskolnikov so I can get back into playing him a bit more. He's in a pretty bad place so someone fairly normal and non magical / super powered / alien would be good, basic human wold work rather well =)

Hey guys, looking for some scenes for my characters Lynne Masters (this journal; intern, OC), Andy Gallagher ([info]psychicfreak; patient, Supernatural), and Shannon Rutherford ([info]lightstix; patient, Lost). I'd love to jump into an open post or have an idea of who would jump into mine should I write another one, so any ideas, leave 'em here!

Vengeance "Plot"

Armand has sort of promised Diana to get vengeance on Blue and Dorianmention of sexual violence ). Diana is scared and doesn't want him to do it, because he would put himself in danger. He knows better than to try alone and is looking for help/allies. Also nothing may come of it if Dorian and Blue don't give him an opportunity or (which is okay by me) his intentions are discovered or even ratted out.

Anyone have an contributions or criticisms?

So, this is my idea for Martha. Having found herself back in time, she learned of Lennox House and is doing what she and the doctor did, figuring it all out. Its what she does, its what she's good at (No not as good as Sarah Jane, but few people are!). And she's trying to work from the inside to bring the place down. Though no one - perhaps sans Jack - knows that yet.

Eventually, if someone does realize it, we may be able to have Martha attacked. Not committed, just attacked and put into the infirmary for a bit. Not that that would stop her of course, but it would at very least slow her down in what she's trying to do.

Martha is very much a white hat. She is here to do a job and do it well. She is not above lecturing the orderlies if she feels they're stepping out of line. But then she takes her oath very seriously. So this is my idea! Whatcha all think!

ALSO! I'd love for her to have some plot with Greg House! Hmmm?

I'm looking for a doctor...

Gabriel has an illness that's hard to pin down. Not the depression or the PTSD or the anxiety disorder or the drugs, though that seems like enough, doesn't it? He has what is vaguely called 'non-specific psychosis'.* It manifests when triggered; extreme stress or fear, as in being cornered with no way out, like a trapped animal, threatened with death, or simply poked to the point of enraging him. It's easier to do when he's having panic attack or anxious.

Anyway, it's another personality he calls the 'Dark Passenger'. It is a being of pure rage with one thing on it's mind: elimiate the threat. Gabriel is a skinny guy who isn't a physical fighter. You could likely break him in half. When the Passenger takes hold, it's like night and day. Full of rage, of strength and passion, it will fight and tear and try to kill anyone in it's path. It will only leave when the threat is gone, or until it's incapacitated. Gabriel hates it.

Gabriel is NOT in control during this time. He is still aware, can see and hear and feel everything going on, but the psychosis is in control. The Passenger feels no pain. It can go beyond Gabriel's physical abilities, drawing on energy and power the man does not have. It feels nothing but the rage and violence. And it really, really likes it. Unfortunately, it can physically take it's toll, and the saying 'I'm going to hate myself in the morning' sums it up rather well.

So. Considering all that, the docs might take an interest in him. (I'd like them to, actually). Testing the Passenger, trying to coax it out, perhaps trying to communicate with it. It has seemingly limitless energy, and feeling no pain? might be interesting to play with.

What do you think? I'm up for all sorts of things in this vein. muhah. *cough*

thanks!

Vorko

*I actually have a friend who works in a long-term mental hospital in Scotland, and that's actually what they call this illness. It pretty much means, 'we have no idea what this is.'

Greetings future creative kindred! Although I have not yet submitted my completed application the Moderators were generous enough to allow me rights to post preliminary plot material and partnership search. The character which I will be bringing to Lennox House is this wee lad here. I introduce for your discerning minds Rossamünd Bookchild, the protagonist of the Monster Blood Tattoo trilogy (renamed the Foundling's Tale series in North America) by D.M. Cornish. He is a shy and gentle fourteen-year-old of deceptively young appearance displaced from time and universe; he will be completely lost in this environment. In free time Rossamünd will probably be found in the library devouring books or quizzing anyone halfway friendly-looking about the mysterious devices found throughout the asylum. He tends to gravitate more toward women than men but will be polite and kind to anyone. Despite his youth and diminutive size this young man is not a child; in his world legal adulthood is achieved at twelve years and innocence lost much sooner. More information on the specifics of his personality and history will be available once this app is finished  HOWEVER, I do have all the information found therein complete and posted save the history and can add anyone who requires further insight to a custom filter.

I had at least one idea to submit. The sub-plot which I suggest could be enacted by any doctors and higher-rung Orderlies--- corrupt or morally grounded alike. Although he functions almost entirely as a human being in canon this character is revealed to be a rare breed of monster. His body may appear indistinguishable from other men but a
Rossamünderling (also called 'maniken', 'ouranin', and a few less savory terms) is created when the corpse of a human falls into the mystically-charged mires from which that world's monsters are born. Given new life by the... frankly, magical mud... these creatures are a perfect merging of human form and ünterman anatomical chemistry. They possess abilities that we humans covet such as massively enhanced strength, near immortality, advanced healing, and an imperviousness to illness. I can imagine that medical science would be delighted to capture one, study it, and see if they can somehow adapt or copy some of those qualities. They might view Rossamünd as a potential cure for disease or even link to immortality. Considering the questionable conduct that goes on in Lennox House I figured it would be the perfect environment for them to muck about with experimenting on him. If anyone is interested I would love to talk!

As for all other plots, even something as small as a planned scene, toss them at me! I am eagerly looking forward to meeting all of you!

July 1955 Calendar

[info]_expelliarmus_

Full Moons and Dates

Because this was brought to my attention from one of the other players, I'm providing a list here of all the full moons from 1955-1959 for myself and Lawrence-player to use. He and Remus change at the full moon, so beware! I want to remind everyone that the dates of the 1955 calender coincide with the dates of this year (but obviously not the day of the week). So when it is July, 12th for example, it is July 12th 1955.

Werewolves?

Are our werewolves on different moon cycles? Angel's character, Lawrence, just got let out after a moon, and poor Moony thinks it's tomorrow. Maybe Moony is still reacting to where he's brought from? I don't know. Chetta isn't on AIM to ask, but I'm asking now if she sees this here. Mostly curious, because I want to know when the werewolves are gonna be all hairy and mean. Werewolves are scaaaary.

Here's a list of Full Moon dates for 1955. I don't have the tools to convert all the times to something US-ian, but the dates should still hold up.

Old Timey Plot of Smallness

Talking to Fern last night, I realized that we have at least two "time travelers" from the past among the patients now. Armand doesn't know how he got here, but he'll cope. I like doing this confusing stuff to him.

I think Raskolnikov has a little lead on him in understanding some tech, especially since the asylum is relatively simple at a 1955 level, but even radios and light bulbs mystify Armand, and I haven't gotten into his opinion of machined metal and modern glass and such. I don't know if it would be a plot if no one else wants to get involved, but I thought it would fun if Armand and Rodia (Rodya?) agreed to trade notes, which would lead to two patients examining anything that looks strange and trying to memorize or note down (if they have regular paper and pencil/pen journals) what things are and how they work. I talked to Fern a little bit last night about them at least trading notes, so that might work even if no one else cares.

Anyone want to interfere, think they're strange, stand back and laugh, round them up and give them lengthy explanations?

As Sirius here is probably not the only one in Lennox House who is an involuntary guest. Though he will be very hesitant to trust other people, he would gladly team up with everyone else who would like to flee.

Maybe we could start something like an "attempt escape" plot. Anyone interested?

I wanted to have a demon invasion in the Lennox House, something Supernaturally themed. As a matter of fact, I was planning on having Dean possessed for a while MWAHAHAA!! Anyone else have some ideas or plot-worthy chatter on the subject? Feel free to discuss here!

I put up a Carol Anne thread where she's going to explain; "Theyyyy'rreeee heerree."

I was thinking it might be interesting to have a character in Lennox House, staff or patient, who reminds Bodo of his fiancee who killed herself not too long ago. It could be a physical similarity - She had dark hair and dark eyes. It could be a similarity in personality, too. She was full of spirit. Any volunteers?

Neil Gaiman plots anyone?

Howdy! So I thought I'd post up what I've been brain-storming plot wise in regards to my character Coraline if anyone wanted in on it :)

If you haven't seen the movie, Coraline basically finds a little door to another world in which there are dopplegangers of everyone she knows. Except the people seem even better than they are in real life. As a matter of fact, everything seems better, the food, the decorations- everything. Anything your heart desires is possible and attainable in this world. Of course, there is a catch. The people all have black buttons for eyes and it was eventually revealed by a mysterious feline guide that the world was created by Coraline's "Other Mother" who is actually an humanoid, arachnid witch. Her main goal is to ensnare those who come into her world, devour their bodies and steal their souls.

The only way in and out of the world is with Coraline's key which she still wears around her neck. Otherwise the black cat is the only being that can travel in and out of the two worlds at will. He is the Other Mother's natural enemy and the guide to anyone who enters the world.

I was going to have the door mysteriously appear in the "Theater" of the Lennox House. People can travel with or without Coraline and we can discuss what is on the other side.
