Much as Teddy might just wake up one day and feel like being a bloke, or being a girl, there was no denying that there was a slight amount of strategy involved in his decision to be a girl on Sunday. Victoire was at least mostly straight, and since Teddy was trying to keep her at arm's length, being a girl was probably going to help. A very
casually dressed girl, at that.
He'd wanted to bring something, but alcohol wasn't a good idea, chocolate seemed a little wrong. In the end he'd settled for a pack of popcorn kernels, and a few bags of gummy sweets. Totally suitable for snacking on while watching a movie, totally not romantic in any way shape or form. It was perfect. And yet. He still had butterflies in his stomach as he walked up to Victoire's front door, smoothing his hair back into place with his hand before ringing the buzzer.
