All work and no play, Open
It was undeniable, at least to Steve, and since the only opinion that mattered to Steve was his own (and the kyrie's, of course the kyrie's, on work related matters, and a few others), then undeniable it was, that the Labyrinth had the best possible facilities on the Strip. Best casinos, best bars, best spa, best employees (naturally). However. The fact remained that the Labyrinth was, as well as his current place of temporary residence, Steve's place of work, which meant that his time on the premises was always (well, nearly always, some of the kyrie's family were deeply distracting and apparently dedicated to being so) in some way related to work. To being on duty. To being, as it were, responsible.
Which was why an unexpectedly free evening had him hightailing it out of the Labyrinth and into another of the bars that he'd once eyed up in the hope of achieving employment, his wallet supplied with a credit card which charged directly back through to the Labyrinth. a perk of the job, as it were, rather than any actual form of salary. All of which, along with his new and decidedly upgraded wardrobe, gave him the confidence to slide onto a free stool at the bar, flashing his best smile at the apparently unaccompanied person next to him, whose glass was looking well on the way to empty. "Allow me to stand you another?"
