Sorry, all! As shown by my utter silence, I really don't have time to play at the moment - which is irritating, because trust me I'd really love to, but whole days go by without me even checking email. Unheard of, for me *lol* at least since I discovered the internet in the mid-90s, however that's life and I can't leave some random character hanging.
If anyone would like to adopt Ginou, she's all yours :) Other than that, I hope the game runs nicely!

Hi Everybody! Em here, and I'll be playing your new librarian, Elisabeth Vincent. She is a French national, works at the American Library in Paris, and is partial to listening to BBC Radio when the Germans aren't around.
I'm excited to be here (World War II is one of my obsessions, although I tend to focus on the Pacific Theater, so this is new) and can't wait to get things started! I'm on AIM (zauberflote917 or schizonyanko, whichever) and email (4thfullmoon at gmail).

Hello there! My name is Meredith (most people call me Mer). I'm on AIM as jhosiah.
My character is Charlie Edwards. He's a US Army Air Corps pilot attached to the RAF that was downed outside of Paris. Currently, he's attempting to work his way to Paris through the countryside. When he gets to Paris, I'd love it if he could get in contact with a member of the Resistance who is willing to hide him.

Hi - this is your friendly neighborhood mod here, asking you for a big favor. With the cast growing so big, and with new folks coming in and such, I figure it will be a lot easier to keep track of everything if we have a C'est La Vie website. I'm going to be working on putting that together.
What we're going to need from you is this - a little profile information for each of your characters, and a player information blurb for you. Please only fill out what you are comfortable filling out for the player blurb, but please fill in the entire thing if possible for the characters. Forms are below- you can leave them as a comment to this post. For the player profile, it's going to be a general overview as we're going to use the player profile cross-game. Eventually we're hoping to have a cool system where you can log in and access your character profiles for all Lab Arc games and update them directly with what's going on in your character's life and so forth. Hello guys!
Sorry I haven't been around much -- finals started last week so I've been insanely busy. But! I'm done on Tuesday and I'll have the whole summer to RP! I know I owe a couple of tags and such, and I promise I will get around to them this week.
Also, since it's related, I have a job on the USS SLATER for the summer as a tour guide. It's the only surviving ship from the WWII Battle of the Atlantic, and it's a fully restored DE (destroyer escort). It's pretty awesome, actually, and I'm super excited. I get to wear period sailor clothes, so I'll be sure to snap a picture and post one so you can all laugh at me. =P

May is almost on us, so I have put up a time post here .
Please give it a read, and maybe use some of the rumors, dangers, diversions, and state of the war to fuel some plots for your posts! Some big events are happening this month - many French POW's are being released, which could be of interest to those waiting for a loved one or friend to come home. There are many British casualties this month- which could be very bad news for our British citizens in Paris who may have lost friends or family members. German cities too are being bombed - maybe hometowns of some of our Nazis.
If anyone wants to start looking into any of the rumors further, please feel free to drop me a line and we'll work out some plot stuff - or put a post down with your character starting to do so, and see what happens!
If you haven't posted for a while (or at all!), I hope that some of this will get you posting - and if you need help coming up with anything to post, or someone to play with, just let me know.

Hello everyone. This is your resident Jess here, who plays Adalhelm. My computer crashed on Friday night. While I have limited access to a computer through the school and others, I'll probably only be able to tag once or twice a day and my AIM time is pretty much gone right now. As soon as I get a new computer or get my old one fixed, I'll let you guys know, but it might be a while, since I am a broke college student and must spend my last hundred dollars reserving my dorm room for the next year. For those I have not yet met, hello! (And to those I have, for that matter, hello again!)
I play Dr. Morgan Michaud-Carre, and Reverend Mother Michael-Therese (The nun). I'm also introducing a new character, one a good deal more dark than my others. hi all, another newbie for you here :)
My name's Sophie, I'm 30 and live in the UK. I also happen to be half French, but have only ever spent a few hours in Paris *lol* Most of them were probably on the péripherique too, hmm. Anyway, I found this RP via Livejournal, so for anyone who's also over there my username is "sophiedb". I'm very much looking forward to playing with you all!
I'll be playing Geneviève Minjoulet, commonly known as Ginou, a farmgirl from the south-west. In Paris she is a housemaid, herbalist, babysitter, anything and everything, all to benefit her baby daughter. P.S. M.duclos, Ginou's first language is Landese, an Occitan patois of the Gascon variety :)
Edit: I've just realised that since the occupation began in May 1940, Ginou and Jan must have worked very quickly to have a baby close to a year old in April 1941 - doh! So I am adjusting her bio to state that Jeannette is only a few weeks old. Hope that's ok!
