The entire squadron was activated for this one, as were at least a couple of others. Its job: Covering escort for the associated flight of Raptors, make sure they got to dock on target. Then sit in orbit and pray nothing unexpected took place.
"Black Hydras, Dagger. Keep your wingman's six clear and follow in your designated Raptor. Presuming we make it, settle into orbit, as per your briefing. Fleet's providing a nice big ECM umbrella - that means your DRADIS isn't exactly too reliable, right now. So, no aerobatics on account of boredom. Don't give a big chunk of rock the kind of pleasure you'd never let a Cylon have."
Waypoint 1 was passed. Soon enough they would be coming up on Initial Point; the last navigated point before reaching the Raptors' targets.
