Mission Briefing - The Black Hydras
Captain Tarix had a reputation for strict authoritarianism and discispline, well beyond bein ga stickler for dress code. She disliked non-regulation tactics and spontaneous bursts of enthusiasm, although, in private, admit that such things possibly had their place, every now and then. Even so, even she seemed to be acting a little more serious than usual, as her squadron was convened for the briefing.

"Everyone here? Good... I'm sure you've all heard the Admiral's speech. Seems it's time you be informed what's so important to potentially risk half our military assets, if not more."

Cole smirked and shook his head before returning to business. He scrutinized the images of the basestar, taking particular note of the weapon emplacements as Capt. Tarix mentioned them. His eyes absorbed images of the maps, charts and schematics of the archaic catastrophe. Despite his own casual demeanor, the seriousness in his eyes showed that he knew how much was at stake.
