How is everyone settling back in? Medical's back up and running (thanks, Doc) so as people start returning, if anything happens, we'll be ready to take it on.

Also, thanks to those of you who are bringing food back with you, and making special trips to bring back the food.

And for the people who helped transport the tribbles to new homes-- you know who you are. You're beautiful and we love you.

Alight, roll call. Where is everyone?

Alright, considering I know fuck all about Earth give me dog/nug friendly places. Also don't know how these things keep getting back in, but I keep finding them.

Has me hoping these things never catch the Blight.

So in case we do need to get off Knowhere whenever (or if) the evacuation needs to take place and there are people that don't want to go to Earth, or can't, the Normandy has space.

If anybody is concerned about the whole sterility thing (in either direction), I can test you afterwards if you want.

I'll be doing myself anyway.

Alright, Knowhere.

We've got something pretty big going down in about two hours. Everyone needs to use their passports and get off the head, stay off for the next eight or so hours. It's safer that way.

Anyone who stays behind when this goes down is risking sterilization. It's not a guarantee but it's a possibility. If that's not something you're worried about, feel free to stay behind and help us. But if it is, you need to leave in the next two hours. Now's a great time to visit Earth and get yourself something to eat. If you haven't used the passports before, find someone who has and they can help you.

Are these creatures inedible?

So, several of our number here wish to end this ordeal with ice, and yet others would see it done in fire. How strange that the threat of these tiny creatures would inspire such poetry.


I am concerned, however, that our divided attentions will only prolong the problem, and it is a war of attrition that will surely claim many of us soon. Since my arrival to Knowhere, I have been dashing back and forth from here to Earth and other supply posts nearby literally non-stop - and I can honestly admit that I can go no faster and safely carry no more at a time. As my skills are not suited to subtlety, I can likely contribute nothing else to this dilemma; I will instead continue my efforts to relieve our barren stores.

Whoever is currently commanding this station must decide upon a solution. And to any who would see these 'Tribbles' spared...steel your nerve. We may yet fail to be skilled or kind enough to allow them to live.

A thought occurs, albeit perhaps without merit. Can we determine a way to lure them to one point? Are they attracted to a sound, or a smell? If they are all together, it would be a simple task for me to either destroy them all, or use a portal to take them away.

Delta's been crunching numbers and he's been so uptight about it he won't let me think.

We noticed food start to go missing on the 19th at around 11am, that's about 110 hours ago. The tribbles reproduce every 12 hours, with litters of up to ten. If we say it took about 100 tribbles to make that much of a dent in our food supply back on the 19th, and average each tribble having 6 babies each..

If we started with 100 tribbles on the 19th, saying each has 6 babies every 12 hours, at 110 hours.

And assuming a few have died off since then (what's the life expectancy on these things?)..

We should have about 1,007,769,600 of these things on Knowhere as of right now. By tomorrow at this time, 36,279,705,600.




We need to start killing these things. Right now.

What have you spend your extra money on recently Knowhere, because I think I've spend mine on the best thing. Earth remains expensive, even if you get things in bulk.

I got off-shift about an hour ago and headed to the mess to grab some breakfast for the troops (I'm looking at you, Ed, the bottomless pit that is Al, North, Harry, Tex and Mouse - Yes, Ed, Carlos has been cooking Earth food special just for you) and Carlos said they're crazy low on food?

I guess it was there yesterday.. but there's a lot of it missing today?

Ed, are you sleep-eating, is that why you're never hungry?
