[Oct. 31st, 2009|06:11 pm] |
Alright, time for the real event!
During the night of the 31st, a number of Kiseki natives (dressed up in elaborate costumes) will be going around the city and rooms for trick-or-treating! It should be clear now why Kiseki has so kindly provided everyone with plenty of candy to spare, right?
And well, if your characters didn't happen to stock up on it, or buy their own, they'll end up being tricked; and it just so happens that Kiseki's magic will be aiding the natives on their pranks!
( TL;DR ahead )
These events will keep occurring up until Monday. Most things should wear off after a while, as usual, but you can bother your characters for longer, if you want. And, as you should already know, feel free to ask any questions! |
|
|
| |
[Oct. 29th, 2009|10:01 pm] |
While I figure out the details of the upcoming Halloween event, have a smaller one!
It will rain candy all over Kiseki. It will happen for very short periods of time, during the whole day. It's perfectly normal, safe candy. And by Saturday, any candy that wasn't picked up will disappear (meaning any that has been picked up by the characters won't; and it might come in handy by then). |

WELL IT'S TIME FOR AN EVENT because I've been away for far too long (?) and... that's pretty much it.
Okay, so, according to chat, it's impossible to make this event sound even remotely serious. SO UHM. Starting today, characters may find themselves feeling intensified sexual desire~*~ (*). This will be triggered by negative emotions; anger, frustration, sadness, worry, etc. You get to decide just how intensely the character is affected. And once it begins, the effect may last as little as fifteen minutes, or up to a couple of hours.
Because it wears off after a while, and it's not mandatory, there's no time limit overall; it doesn't have to affect everyone who might want to participate at the same time, you can have your charas be affected again after it's over, etc.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/
(*) (10:57:14 AM) [ JL ]: lol I'm stuck at "Starting today, " (10:57:18 AM) [ JL ]: I dunno how to word it (10:58:19 AM) Andreapedia: "characters will feel intensified sexual desire"? (10:58:25 AM) [ JL ]: ohhh (10:58:26 AM) [ JL ]: so fancy (10:58:35 AM) Andreapedia: /is very fancy (10:58:38 AM) [ JL ]: haha (10:58:45 AM) Oozaru: intensified sexual desire= horny (10:58:55 AM) Oozaru: You can dress it up, but this will forever be the horny event. |

[Aug. 31st, 2009|04:14 am] |
Time for a new event! Because we all need a reason to abuse our shiny new video feature.
This time, your characters will be able to re-watch moments from their pasts! Any significant memory works for this.
( TL;DR )
This event starts now and will end on Monday 7.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/ |

[Aug. 4th, 2009|01:58 pm] |
Alright, after... over a month, sob, it's time for a new event \o/
This one's an alternative ship event. On Wednesday, there will be a shower of sparks all over Kiseki. This will signal the beginning of the event; your characters will then have until the following Wednesday to realize they're now in love!
( Details~*~ )
As usual, if you've got any questions, concerns, etc, just leave a comment! And feel free to plan out/confirm more pairings here, if you hadn't done so already.
Remember you can always combine this event with some of our previous ones /o/ And for future re-playings: the shower of sparks would just happen in a small scale, and surround your character(s). |

[Jun. 14th, 2009|03:57 pm] |
Alright, we're having an angsty event afterall. From the suggestion page, as usual:
Starting today and ending on Wednesday, ghosts from your character's pasts will show up in Kiseki! Additionally, every island will be covered in fog during the entire event.
The ghosts will basically be mute, floating, incorporeal, rather creepy versions of their "real" selves. They'll show traces of their canon personality, they won't be able to talk, they won't be able to be touched in any way (I know that sounds like a dumb aclaration, but with charas like Nadeshiko or Haruka it seems fitting to clarify that), and won't stay in the same place for long. They'll appear and disappear in different places of Kiseki at random during the entire event.
The fog is, obviously, mandatory, but encountering the ghosts isn't. You can choose to not deal with them at all, you can stick to just the ghosts from your character's own past, or you can have them see both the ones from their and other character's pasts.
I think that's it! As usual, feel free to ask any questions. And if you end up really wanting an extension, please let me know by Wednesday. |
|

[May. 15th, 2009|10:19 pm] |
Event time /o/ Taken from the Event Suggestions post as usual.
Starting on Saturday and until Wednesday, any time your character experiences feelings of affection/love (any kind of love) for someone, they will start to feel pain! The intensity of the pain will vary accordingly to the strength of the feelings. Luckily for the characters, this will only be triggered if they're actually near the person who made them feel that way.
To get an idea of how the characters should be affected, check the original suggestion.
The event is not mandatory, and as usual, feel free to ask any questions! |

| Event \o/ |
[Apr. 15th, 2009|03:26 pm] |
EVENT TIME.
Starting tomorrow and ending next Monday, the characters and settings will be influenced by what Tweak says!
For example, if you're playing a thread between two characters, and Tweak says "BUBBLES!!!" (it just did this for me two minutes ago |D), then... bubbles would randomly appear!
And if Tweak said something like "It was love to me" (it says this one a lot o_O), then there're a number of choices.
- Your character could actually say it (or write it?), and then a) realize they're saying a random line and WTF at themselves, or b) not realize it, and continue the conversation as if that was what they'd wanted to say all along.
- Your character could simply think this line. Then, once again, you can choose between them noticing it's a weird thing to think of, or not noticing it.
Please make sure to always clarify in an OOC note what it was that Tweak said. And if what it says happens to be a bit extreme, and you're not sure it'd be allowed (if it mentions a dragon, or killing someone, idk), just leave a comment here.
This is non-mandatory! And as usual, feel free to ask any questions. |

[Mar. 31st, 2009|04:30 pm] |
Tiny event time!
During April 1st, there will be feathers falling all over Kiseki /o/
Some will be just typical white feathers, and some will look like Sakura's feathers (in case you've never seen a color illustration of those, the black marking on them is supposedly red).
They won't be magical like hers, they'll just look exactly the same.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/ |

[Mar. 22nd, 2009|08:45 pm] |
K-kind of slightly late announcement, but everyone knew this was coming 8| ;;
EVENT TIME
Starting on Monday and until next Sunday, Kiseki will change to mirror Tsubasa's Tokyo country.
( TL;DR )
I- I think that's it? PLEASE do comment and ask any questions you may have! A-and I wasn't sure about the timing, so if you end up wanting it to end sooner/later, also let me know |D; |
|
|

[Mar. 6th, 2009|07:58 am] |
THINGS ARE TOO QUIET. Therefore, it's time for an event 8| I chose the following one 'cause it seemed really fun and like it'd liven up things a bit. I PROMISE I WILL MAKE THE GODDAMNED TOKYO EVENT SOON, OK.
A-anyway.
Starting on Saturday and ending next Friday, anyone affected by this event will suddenly believe they're characters from a particular media genre! Kind of as if The Fluffball's posts had been for real and not just playing o/
- They won't believe they're someone else (as in, an actual character from another series), they'll just believe it's always been like that (so feel free to adjust their canon memories as you wish!). And although it's possible to make some adjustments, it'd be best if their personalities were kept as intact as possible.
- Whichever genre you choose doesn't necessarily have to match your character's personality! You could have magical girl!Doumeki or gunslinger!Sakura or whatever.
- Their clothes will change, if necessary.
- For other appearance alterations, you can abuse the springs event, mutations event, and aging/de-aging event.
- Your character could gain new abilities to fit the genre you chose! Just make sure to make a note about it somewhere in the journals. And if the abilities you need for them would have to affect other charas, or Kiseki itself, please comment here to make sure it's okay.
As usual, let me know if I'm forgetting anything, and feel free to ask any questions. |

Event time!
This weekend, we finally get the aging/de-aging event!

AS ALWAYS, I hope it's clear and I didn't forget anything |D;; And feel free to ask any questions o/ |

[Feb. 11th, 2009|12:40 pm] |
Event announcement tiem /o/
During the 12th and 13th, your characters will feel a heightened sense of bitterness over events in their past, whether it's something they truly feel bitter about or not. Your character will feel compelled to reproach the people who they feel inflict that bitterness, too.
It will last at least one day, but the intensity of this bitterness will start to decrease after a while.
On the 14th... Have a list.
( The main event & misc crap! )
Neither event is mandatory! The decorations and such are, of course, but that's obvious.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/ |

[Feb. 6th, 2009|11:27 am] |
Alright, as you can see, we now can replay events \o/
Please, do read the entry and let me know if there's anything I'm forgetting to explain or you don't agree with or whatever.
ALSO please check all the lists and remember to comment if something needs to be changed or listed. |

[Jan. 28th, 2009|12:57 am] |
The current event will last a day longer o/ |

| Small event /o/ |
[Jan. 26th, 2009|12:35 pm] |
During the whole day tomorrow, journal filters will be malfunctioning! Things set on private could be perfectly readable or filtered to just certain people, public things might end up locked, etc.
Filters will work sometimes, though. It'll just require a ton more concentration than usual to get them right. And of course, it'll affect comments as well.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/ |

| FINALLY |
[Jan. 1st, 2009|11:50 pm] |
Okay, as you know (... I think?), the anniversary event had been delayed because there were too many people on hiatus. So, I eventually decided to change the date to the game's first anniversary in InsaneJournal, which happens to be today o/
So, anyway. For this special event, starting today and ending on January 16th, all previous events can be re-played. I've just made a few modifications to some of the events.
( DETAILS - please read this )
T-that was much harder to write than I thought it would be. orz
I hope it all makes sense, and as usual, feel free to ask any questions! |

| Event tiem |
[Dec. 3rd, 2008|11:22 pm] |
Because it's fun to make charas think they really did jinx it by pointing out it's been quiet - we're having an event o/
Taken from the Suggestions post (because Ana's awesome like that): Seven Deadly Sins/Seven Virtues event!
For the following week, characters who are usually 'good' will be affected by one of the Seven Sins (Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride). And characters who are usually 'bad' will be affected by one of the virtues (Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Courage/Fortitude, Faith, Hope, Love/Charity).
They will be affected randomly (no candy or whatever to trigger it this time), and there are just a few rules: The shortest amount of time you can be affected by a sin is fifteen minutes. The shortest amount of time you can be affected by a virtue is one hour.
The longest you can be affected by either, is one day. And you can't be affected by two different ones in the same day.
That's pretty much it - you can have your characters be affected by any of the seven virtues or sins in any of the seven days. You can have them be affected just once, or every day, that's up to you.
Hopefully this all makes sense! As usual, feel free to ask any questions! |
|

[Nov. 15th, 2008|01:43 am] |
Okay, so. I was saying I wanted to make a smaller event, because I'd rather use the pile of events I've got for when we don't have a lot of you people on hiatus/semi-hiatus.
And I swear I had the mental image for this event completely at random. IDK. I'm just kinda wtfing at myself.
ANYWAY. Now that you've skipped my rambling, the event itself!
Everyone will suddenly have a little heart above their heads. It'll just be floating there, looking cartoonish, and since it is an illusion, it can't be touched or anything like that. If you were to idk wear a hat? It'd just float above it.
What's the fun in this? The little heart will start to change whenever your character talks or approaches someone else, to reflect your characters' feelings about them.
( Details! )
This event starts now, and it will end on Wednesday.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions! |

[Oct. 29th, 2008|09:24 am] |
Guys, if you've updated a character recently, can you check the Taken Characters list and comment here saying which point in canon your characters are from? I'm kinda lost already.
ALSO.
Event time o/
Starting today at midnight, and until Saturday (basically, when Hallowe'en's over), any character who's killed someone will have their hands (and arms) covered in blood.
It will not go away no matter how much they wash it, and from time to time it'll begin to flow, so make sure they don't have any expensive clothes on |Da;
I said it's their hands and arms, but feel free to be dramatic and have them be covered in blood all over.
Also, regarding who will be affected; your point in canon doesn't count. So, if your character has killed at ANY point in their entire canon? They'll be affected. ... Only if you want them to, because it's not mandatory. But I'm sure most of you will be morbid enough to want to participate. Torturing our characters is fun, afterall o/ And also, it's not only "characters who have murdered", but also those who might've done it accidentally, or indirectly, or those whose canon isn't clear about it but they feel responsible for it anyway. Fay (s), Himawari, Wata, etc.
I think that's it? As usual, feel free to ask any questions! |
|
|
| |
[Oct. 21st, 2008|03:36 am] |
Guys, remember the event where every character was given a letter, and the opportunity to wish for one item?
Well, this time, your characters will find a small mirror. Attached to it, there will be a note, which will explain that if your character wishes to be able to see a certain moment from their past again, they just have to ask the mirror, and it'll show it to them.
( Cut for TL;DR details )
Every character currently on hiatus will find their mirror once they're back.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions. |
|
|
| Such a fluff! event |
[Oct. 7th, 2008|03:48 pm] |
Event time! Once again taken from the Events Suggestions page /o/
Characters will catch a strange sickness that forces them to stay in bed. Symptoms might be slightly different for different people but basically: Dizziness, constant pain all over the body, lack of appetite, throwing up, confused state, feeling cold and just generally sick. Some are less sick, just feeling awful enough not to want to get out of bed. In worse cases the sick person would be barely conscious, not even able to write in their journal to ask for help.
Medicine, other than simple painkillers, won't help at all. What will help ease the symptoms is food! Whatever your character hates eating will make them feel better, while their favorite food will worsen their illness.
This event is non-mandatory, so that you can have the healthy characters taking care of the sick ones.
The sickness can last anywhere between 24 hours and a whole week, and they don't have to get sick right away.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions! |
|
|
| |
[Sep. 25th, 2008|11:37 pm] |
For the following two days, characters will lose one of their five senses!
It's not mandatory. And as usual, feel free to ask any questions o/ |

[Sep. 18th, 2008|02:35 pm] |
RANDOM DUMB EVENT SO I DON'T USE THE COOL ONES WHEN WE'RE ALL KINDA MIA
For the following four days, Kiseki will have lots and lots of puppies, kittens and bunnies running (or hopping?) around.
Feel free to pet them, play with them or even feed them (although it's not necessary since the Kisekians will take care of that).
They will disappear completely once the four days are over, though! They can't be adopted D:
And no, Kuro, there aren't any lizards. |
|
|
| Let's make it quieter |
[Sep. 5th, 2008|07:03 am] |
Starting now, and until Sunday, all the people who're originally from Kiseki are gone.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions 8D |

[Aug. 28th, 2008|08:37 am] |
New crack event! Starting now and for the following 24 hours, characters' emotions will be powered up!
If they're sad? They'll be Fay Subaru uber emo and depressed. If they're happy? They'll be all HYPER and SPARKLY and like they're on a sugar high. If they're angry? THEY WILL BE KICKING PEOPLE IN THE FACE. And so on!
Edit: ^ That's just a generic example, they don't have to be exactly like that. See the comments below if this clarification makes no sense |D;
Their emotions can change, of course, they're not stuck on a single EXTREME!!1 one.
It's not mandatory o/ And as usual, feel free to ask any questions you have. |
|
|
| |
[Aug. 18th, 2008|09:13 pm] |
Aaaand we also get an event.
Also taken from the Event Suggestions entry (since you all SECONDED1! it and all |D;)
Starting on Tuesday, and ending on Thursday, your characters' feelings for the ones they love the most will go away. They won't forget how they used to feel, they just won't feel that way anymore.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/
EDIT: It's not mandatory o/ |
|
|
| Ring Event /o/ |
[Jul. 23rd, 2008|09:24 am] |
Event time! Taken off the suggestions page (I'm creative like that!) and slightly modified.
Everyone in Kiseki will be given a pretty ring (they'll show up in their pillows, like the envelopes from the last event). They'll have a little note tied to them, saying they're meant to be used as gifts for the ones you love.
If someone else puts on the ring, they automatically become attached to the person that gave it to them. Whether it be holding hands, linking arms, hugging, etc, they will be unable to stop touching them. Even if they want to.
For example, suppose Kurogane gives the ring to Tomoyo. She puts on the ring, and then loops arms with him. He pushes her off, but as strong as he is, and as much as she herself might want to get away, she must be touching him.
The ring can only be taken off after 15-30 minutes, but if you don't actually remove it, they will continue affecting the person who's wearing it. And once they're removed, they won't work anymore.
One last thing: If someone writes a warning for the others about what the rings do, it'll just be deleted from the entry or comment they wrote it in.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions! |

[Jul. 15th, 2008|11:13 am] |
I have nothing to do, so here, have an event survey. Answering isn't mandatory, of course, but it'd help 8|b Feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like. Or even to reply anonymously, if you don't feel comfortable giving concrit while logged in.
- Are you happy with the way events are handled right now? - Do you mind the irregularity? Would you prefer them to have a set schedule (one every fifteen days, for example)? [Right now what determines most of the events is lack of activity. If we have a sudden influx of new characters or a mun coming back from a hiatus, or I just know there're a ton of threads going on already due to whatever reason, I won't bother 'cause people already have stuff to play and have fun with. ... The other factor would be really epic awesome events that I just WANT to play right away, but even those usually get delayed if I know there's a ton of activity already.] - Do you mind that events aren't usually announced before-hand? Would you prefer for them to be announced earlier? [The reason why events are announced as soon as they start happening is 'cause I'm horribly impatient. It kills me to have to wait, specially if I'm excited about a good idea for an event. And it's why most of them last an IRL week or so! I don't want people to miss them, so I usually extend them longer than what's probably necessary to allow players who might not be able to play until later to participate.] - Do you like events for specific RL dates, such as Valentine's or Hallowe'en events? - Is there a type of event you would like happening more often (small events, large events, more serious ones, the 'default' events such as gender-bending/de-aging and aging/body-switch/etc, shippy events for either your OTPs or to allow you to play crack pairings, silly OOC events that will make Lin write purple prose entries with Kuro, etc)? - Is there a type of event you'd prefer happened less often, or that it wasn't mandatory? - What's been your favorite event so far? - What's been your least favorite event so far? - Is there an event you would just love to play? - Any other thoughts or suggestions?
C&P the text in the following box into a comment and fill it out o/

Alright, now that the crossdressing event is over, Kiseki wants to be nice to the people in it.
Every character will find an envelope on their pillows, with their name on it. Inside, there's a note:
"If there's an item you wish for, concentrate your thoughts on it, hold on tightly to this note and request it in a clear voice.
This will work just for you, only once. Make sure you won't regret your choice before using it.
~ Courtesy of Miracle Country."
You know the deal~ Ask for any questions or specifics here. And pretend Kiseki can write cooler notes than me.
And yes, it can be any item. Hopefully no one will ask for a nuclear bomb or something. The envelope & note will dissappear once your character's made their request (as long as they've requested for something that can be given to them, of course. If you ask for something that's not a "thing", then it won't do anything, you'll have to ask for something different), and whatever they wish for will appear in their rooms, if small enough, or outside the hotels, if they ask for something that's either too big or not fit for indoors.
Characters on hiatus will get their envelope when they come back o/ |

[Jul. 3rd, 2008|10:11 pm] |
New event!
This weekend, aka Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th, all characters will be wearing clothes that would stereotypically be for the opposite gender. They'll wake up on Saturday with their clothes changed (like it happened for the Infinity!clothes event), and all their spare clothes changed. The clothes' alteration includes everything down to their underwear o/
If they were to try and put on the correct type of clothes (borrowing them from someone, for example), said clothes would shrink to the point where not even Mokona would be able to wear them (they'll return to their normal size after a while, though, if left alone). The same would happen to robes, towels, bed sheets, curtains, etc if they left their rooms with them.
Characters who are undecided (Kohaku or Nakuru, for example) would get the clothes they wouldn't usually pick. Say, Nakuru would get something like a plain, boring suit.
And your characters could choose to stay naked for the whole weekend, but since I'm mean, all food will be gone from the rooms' kitchens, and the cafeteria will close down during the weekend.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions~ |
|

| Event again~ |
[Jun. 20th, 2008|12:43 am] |
Alright, we have a lot of new muns (and I don't know how many of them were faithful stalkers before they got in), so here's a link to the first candy event.
This time, Kiseki girls will be offering free samples of jellybeans all around Kiseki.
About 5-15 minutes after they've eaten a jellybean, your characters will lose their inhibitions. As the anon described it in the Events Suggestions post, "people will be more inclined to give in to their desires, proclaim the truth about themselves to the world, and maybe even walk around in only their underwear".
The effects can last either 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes, depending on what jellybean they choose to eat. Although the different durations are totally random, not color- (or flavor-?) coded like in the previous event. This is mostly so you can choose a shorter duration if your character might do something dangerous, for example.
And there's another trick to it! All the characters who were there for the previous event won't remember what happened. They'll vaguely remember girls handing out candy once (it'll feel like a dejavu), but not what they caused.
The candy will be given out for the following week o/ So, go nuts. And as usual, feel free to ask any questions. |
|
|
| |
[Jun. 1st, 2008|08:09 pm] |
Starting on Tuesday, which is when this event ends, all the characters affected by the springs will notice a residual effect!
They will randomly start to act like whatever they changed into. For example, Kurogane might have a sudden urge to climb trees and eat praeirie dogs.
This will last two more days after the event is over! As usual, feel free to ask any questions~ |
|
|
| |
[May. 27th, 2008|03:18 pm] |
AND YET ANOTHER P.S.-ISH NOTE
There's just TWO springs in all of Kiseki that change people into boys or girls. BE ORIGINAL |D;;; *says the person with the kitty* T-there're tons of animals you could turn into, don't stick to just boy/girl, 'kay?
We'll have a genderswitch event sometime, anyway, I promise |3 |
|
|
| 'Cause Kurogane's asking for it |
[May. 27th, 2008|01:35 am] |
Event time!
For the following week, Kiseki will have random springs show up in every island!
These springs aren't normal~ They work the same as those in Ranma 1/2.
For those who aren't familiar with the series: ( Explanation )
The springs will be appearing and dissappearing randomly, and there will be a thick fog all over the place making it difficult to see outside.
Also, at periodical intervals during the day, rain will fall! And of course, it will alternate between "hot" rain and "cold" rain.
Remember you can only turn into either an animal or a male/female human (the opposite of whichever your chara is). AND the springs' effects are anulled by the following spring you fall into! So, if you manage to find the correct human spring to stop transforming, and you end up falling into a different one on your way home, it'll change you again.
AND.
The hotels' cafeterias will be closed for the first day. And any food left in your rooms is gone.
Feel free to ask any questions <o/ |

[May. 7th, 2008|06:40 pm] |
Because I can, I'm ending the event early (five hours earlier in my time!).
But like the last time I did this, if you didn't get a chance to post or whatever, go ahead and follow the original timing :3 |

| Event~ |
[May. 6th, 2008|11:24 am] |
Alright, time for another event!
Continuing with the TRC theme of the previous one, this time the characters will go through what Sakura did.
They'll lose their most precious memories.
In case someone isn't familiar with the events at the beginning of TRC, Sakura forgets about her relationship with Syaoran. When she starts regaining the lost feathers that contain her memories and her soul, Syaoran is "deleted" from them, and she can remember events involving him, but can't remember him being there, or his voice, or even his name.
It doesn't necessarily have to be the memory of a single person, though. It can be the memory of more than one person alone, or the memory of an event. If it's the most important for your charas, that's what they will forget.
And just like Sakura in Kiseki, other people can tell them about these forgotten memories (in TRC, Sakura faints if she's figuring out she knew Syaoran, or if someone tells her). They'll just be unable to recall them.
This event starts today, ends on Thursday, and it is not mandatory.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions. And due to the nature of the event, feel free to discuss in comments what should your chara forget about |3b |

Time for an event!
Starting now, and ending next Monday, all the clothing in Kiseki will change into Infinity Country! themed clothes.
In case someone doesn't know, Infinity is one of the worlds in Tsubasa. And the clothing style is kinda... Gothic lolita meets BDSM?
Here are some examples (and more 1 2 3 4 5), and you can just browse through those chapters to get a better idea of what the clothes look like, if you have no clue. The only difference would be they wouldn't have the collars, since those're for the battles within Infinity and those won't happen here.
And yes, even children will be affected by this o/
