Concrit meme - Take 16!
We're having a concrit meme again! The rules are the same as last time:

Comment to this post with a list of your characters.

Then reply anonymously to the other players, giving concrit on how they're playing/their characterization/their interactions/etc. Or ask them stuff, like why did chara A did this or say that or w/e.

Flame anyone, and I'll kill you in the face. I'm looking for something that can help us improve, not for someone to go 'OMG YOU SUCK!!11!' at someone else. If you really do believe someone's screwing up, then be civil, and explain why you feel that way.

You can just praise a character, if you can't find anything wrong with what they do. It's always better if you can elaborate on why you like that character, but hey, flailing at someone is fine too.

This is semi-mandatory! If you really, really can't take concrit, then go ahead and don't participate, but I'd rather everyone did.

Overall I really like your Seishirou, but sometimes he doesn't seem quite silly enough, I suppose? It's really difficult to put my finger on. Even with people that knew what he was really like (Subaru, Hokuto, "Kamui", etc.) he usually kept that smiling, flirtatious, teasing act up and at times that's not coming across in your poses. He seems a little too blunt and direct about what he's thinking and feeling. I'm not sure if that's the impression your trying to give because I realize him being dead in canon might change how he acts here.

The rest of yours are good, but Mokona especially I'm very fond of. She's completely adorable! The Soel and Large are difficult characters to play without making them bland and generic I think you're doing a great job of avoiding that. I was laughing out loud at her thread with Primera about Umi's party.

As always I love all your characters and think you're doing a great job.

But I guess my only crit is that Kakyou doesn't seem sad enough? That's a horrible thing to say but I don't know if it's because we don't see him constantly or because it's a little better for him because of the idea that Hokuto could be showing up at any time. I also know that with rping there's the danger of making your character seem too melodramatic, even if it'd logically be a realistic reaction to something? But I think it'd be realistic for Kakyou to be even more username-worthy. Just something to keep in mind, I guess. If the reason really is one of those two, then disregard this!

I think you do wonderfully with all your characters, but I agree with the previous anon about Mokona being especially adorable, particularly considering with the Mokonas, it's easy too make them either too bland or just plain stupid. Yours is lovely. &hearts

I know you really worry about some of your characters, and I especially know how unnerving it can be to get no comment on a character, because even if it's not crit, it's still kind of ";;;"-inducing.

So that being said, I definitely think that your strongest characters are the Syaos, Dou, Fay, and Sakura. Not to say that the others aren't good, but those characters are just... I've tried to think of crit for them for a long time in these memes, and can never think of anything. Their voices are just so strong and perfect. *lol circle-jerk?*

I'm also always so impressed by how you can play Sei and make it work, because he seems like a really difficult character to play, but not only do you do it well but you... keep him relatively active, which is also amazing considering sparkly Kiseki.

I also think Kusanagi is amazing, and I never get the sense that you have a hard time with him or anything.

Not actually going anon 'cause I mentioned this in chat and so it's pointless; but I was stalking you guys as usual and in one of the last threads with Kuro, Fay kind of smiles and says he can't ever win or something? I absolutely loved that thread 8| You made Fay sound so... real, idk. His reaction and words and everything just struck me as spot-on. And I think it's amazing you can do that with a chara that's from a few silly crack omakes.

The recent threads with Kuro-sensei have been really interesting! It's great to see more of Fay's personality aside from his crack, which is a hard thing to accomplish given his own canon and the sparkliness of Kiseki. I think you're handling it well and fleshing out a good chunk of his personality without making it seem disbelievable or melodramatic.

At first I was a bit "uh wtf" over you apping someone so random like Primera, but she is just so fantastic. I love the similarities with the MKR one, but she's very much her own person... and their thread was hilarious. She's really funny and it's nice to have someone who isn't just ~*~super nice~*~ in Kiseki. I look forward to seeing more from her.

Sakura, Chise, and Chun Hyang are all perfect, as always. I'm sorry I can't think of any suitable crit... aside from the lame "wanna see more" thing, which is always such a cop out.

Uhhh I guess the same as always. I'm super paranoid about all of them... but especially with Ueda, Yuzu, Syao, Sakura, and Fuuma (I feel okay with Hima and Kuro but this may be a false sense of security?)

You're doing great, as always!

I don't have much real crit for the characters you mentioned; I loved Fuuma's recent threads with Kamui and Seishirou, and seeing Syaoran learn new things as time passes. Yuzuriha's adorable and it's great to see her relationship with Kusanagi's starting to develop. Sakura's interactions with her castmates still make me wibble. And Ueda's fail is just so adorable to watch! I'd like to see him thread more with Chii, though, it seems like they haven't interacted too much.

I know I haven't been around a whole lot, so I'm aware of activity issues and plan on righting them when I can - part of it is that I'm taking six courses at school, busting my ass, reading one of the longest English-language books ever written, etc. I'm thinking of going on semi-hiatus for a little while until I get things a little sorted out.
