I have nothing to do, so here, have an event survey. Answering isn't mandatory, of course, but it'd help 8|b Feel free to elaborate as much as you'd like. Or even to reply anonymously, if you don't feel comfortable giving concrit while logged in.

- Are you happy with the way events are handled right now?
- Do you mind the irregularity? Would you prefer them to have a set schedule (one every fifteen days, for example)? [Right now what determines most of the events is lack of activity. If we have a sudden influx of new characters or a mun coming back from a hiatus, or I just know there're a ton of threads going on already due to whatever reason, I won't bother 'cause people already have stuff to play and have fun with. ... The other factor would be really epic awesome events that I just WANT to play right away, but even those usually get delayed if I know there's a ton of activity already.]
- Do you mind that events aren't usually announced before-hand? Would you prefer for them to be announced earlier? [The reason why events are announced as soon as they start happening is 'cause I'm horribly impatient. It kills me to have to wait, specially if I'm excited about a good idea for an event. And it's why most of them last an IRL week or so! I don't want people to miss them, so I usually extend them longer than what's probably necessary to allow players who might not be able to play until later to participate.]
- Do you like events for specific RL dates, such as Valentine's or Hallowe'en events?
- Is there a type of event you would like happening more often (small events, large events, more serious ones, the 'default' events such as gender-bending/de-aging and aging/body-switch/etc, shippy events for either your OTPs or to allow you to play crack pairings, silly OOC events that will make Lin write purple prose entries with Kuro, etc)?

I like events! If they were going to happen more often (which would be OK by me :D) during busier times, maybe what we could do would be to make tiny events during the busier times and bigger events with some regularity during the less busy times?

I don't mind the irregularity as long as we're having events fairly often.

- Do you mind that events aren't usually announced before-hand? Would you prefer for them to be announced earlier?

I'm good either way. I like events that aren't announced because I can play right away, but at the same time I get how announcing it beforehand would help other players.

I'm a sap and like shippy events and default events! Though I like serious and big events a lot too.

;o; I like lots of them. Ummm. The mistletoe one rings a bell because I remember snuggling a lot of people :D

Hmm, the one where we spoke in different languages, maybe? It was still fun but I dun think an event like that is the type to last as long as, say, a shape-shifting event.

Fairy tale event ;o; And I liked the rings suggestion on the suggestion page.

I love the events. Ummmmm, I fail at giving concrit lol hi. I'll just second what Lin said here, yaaay.

I kinda like the irregularity to it. It makes it harder to predict. If something happened every fifteen days, characters would eventually catch on and know to lock themselves in their room the night of the fourteenth day so they wouldn't go out and make asses of themselves.

So, I don't mind the irregularity as long as events happen on a normal basis. :D

I don't mind either way s-since I kinda live on the internet, I'm usually around when you go "Oh hay guyz it's event time!" But maybe announcing bigger events beforehand would help the players who aren't online as obsessively as other players. |Da

Ummmmm, I like them all? God, I fail at this survey, lulz. But I will admit that I am a hopeless romantic sap who enoys the shippy events (whether or canon or for crack pairings) And I'll admit that some of the 'default' events seem like a fun idea, even if they've been way overdone in other rps.

Serious events are also awesome, of course. A-and the other events you listed. Basically I like all the events, hi there.

I really liked the purple prose event (or whatever it was called, the one where Lin made Kuro proclaim his desire for Kusanagi's thighs.) And the mistletoe event comes to mind. Annnnnnnd, I liked the OOC event. |Da

I've liked all the events, but I'll just copy what Lin said and say that the language event went on a bit too long, but it was still lots of fun (hurray for babelfish and it's inadequate translating skills.)

I really like some of the suggestions on the suggestion page. Like the ring event and the time warp event. And the fairy tale event. And... yes. :x

	Maybe something other than food or drink causing the characters to act OOC would be fun. But I'm biased because of Chii ID;; I'll keep that in mind o/ I usually use those 'cause it's easy to make the events non-mandatory and yet likely to affect mostly everyone. (Reply to this) (Parent)

I think the events are what keep Kiseki special. Really no complaints at all. I love them.

The current system works! It's great that when there's lots of activity and new characters coming in events are postponed for a while. I'd be uncomfortable for a new mun to start playing, say, during an OOC event. ^^;; I also find it positive that some of the events aren't mandatory.

No. I like how the suddenness helps keep Kiseki chaotic, which is how some of the characters view this world. It makes the place stay IC, so to speak. Of course, if there was a big event that everyone was dying to play that'd require preparation announcing it in advance would sure help. :)

I don't mind them. I know I'll enjoy the craziest ones the most, but then again Kiseki has a way of making the most ordinary things fun and nuts, so I'm all for those.

I'd love to have more action-centric events so characters have the chance to use their magic/fighting skills. But I'm horribly biased in this one. I'm really fond of crack events too. Crack pairings sound like love.

Not really. The pinky finger thread event in the suggestions page makes me wonder what'll happen to characters who don't have canon soul mates, though. None of mine have, for instance.

I haven't been here long so I can't really say a lot about this. Out of the events I played I loved the Ranma one. Out of those I've just read the OOC one was great fun.

Same as above. I couldn't really say. Muns who've been here longer have the word in this one.

The Killer Dolls event. ;o; ~~But please only when Tuul comes back!~~

Uh... If there are gonna be crack pairing events, maybe a way to involve even those characters without romantic interests could be to randomize the couples somehow? Like, give every character a number then pull pairings out of a random number generator? IDK. Maybe that's too complicated. |D;;

Umi would be connected to Fuu (and Hikaru, if she was around), and Hokuto to Subaru.

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT WOULD NOT WORK LIKE THAT.

And I'll make the Killer Dolls event :D I'm using that one for this year's Hallowe'en.

	Oh, and regarding the last answer! If it's an event for crack ships, the muns would be able to choose, so not having a romantic interest wouldn't matter? Pairing up characters randomly for events would be cool sometimes though, I'll see if I can work that into some event. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I don’t mind. But, yeah, like Robin said, having a pattern would alarm the charas. o/

I think it’s also okay for the events to be planned beforehand, but if it does happen like so, I think a reminder one day before it actually happens would be great. Just so the muns can prepare even with little time? But the current system is fine, too. I don't really mind much~

Irregular's fine! That way when I come and check Kiseki it's always a nice surprise if there's an event.

I reaaally like the irregularity, but I thought it'd be cool if we had like, mini-events that were scheduled. (Like every few days, something random about Kiseki changes, for example.) That way, the characters can't predict and hide from big events, but there's still something regular to keep things interesting? :3

I actually like the idea of them being announced, but not that much earlier beforehand. Like, an event announced the day before it happens is nicer compared to an event posted a week or whatever in advance, which kind of makes me squirm in anticipation |D;

OOC events are so much fun holy crap. (And s-sob I missed the last one.) But I also want to second Val in saying that I'd like to have some sort of event that is more action-driven. I'm not sure if there's anything like that planned or if it would even work, but I think it'd be cool for the characters that can fight and stuff to get a chance to play that. ~~If we have a fairytale event, there should totally be a big dragon to fight XD~~ And even if the characters can't fight or whatever, they can do the whole 'stick together in time of danger' thing which I personally find interesting to play. :)

Hmmm.. I think probably the events where character's clothes change? |D; I don't hate them and don't mind them being mandatory, but they're not as exciting (for lack of a better word) as other events imo. I mean, it's fun to see what people pick for their characters to wear, but beyond that, not much happens? Maybe that's just me though.

God I have to pick one? Ummm, my favorites I think have been the two jelly-bean events and the Christmas mistletoe event.

Again, not that I hated it, but I thought the Infinity clothes event was random |D;

I want an age-switch event so bad DX ♥ Like, one where characters actually act like they're the age they switch to. instead of de-aging or growing up and still acting their original age.

Also, a dancing event would be so epic. |Da
