Action || Open to everyone

[Happy (belated) CLAMP day, everyone! We're following our tradition and having an event for the date.

This year, it's a memory sharing event. Characters will find that they're holding a feather (or perhaps more than one), and they'll know that this feather contains a memory. It could be anything, big or small, happy or sad, that much is up to you. Now, they hold these representations of their own memories for a reason! They're meant to hand them over to someone else. In doing so, the person they give the feather to will experience this memory in a vision. There's a catch, however; the person receiving this memory has to be someone who didn't experience it or witness it too.

Now, if they decide they'd rather not give it to anyone, they'll realize the memory contained in that feather is slowly fading away from their own memories. They'll forget names, faces, events from the memory, until they eventually forget it entirely. Sometimes the memory fading will be a lot faster, and they'll know they have to act quick and don't have the luxury to be sitting around considering who to trust with it. They'll know that, unless shared with someone, the memory will be forgotten entirely. Or, well, "entirely", as Kiseki would have mercy and return it to them, after several weeks (how much is up to you).

The memory exchange will happen when someone else touches the feather - and it means that, yes, you can force someone to see your memory, or you can forcefully view them yourself. And while feathers with memories only work once and then disappear, they could reappear with the same memory in them later.

Of course, the event isn't mandatory, your characters being affected by it at all is entirely your choice.]

002 ƸӜƷ Video

[The screen flickers to life. She hasn't been here long, but for anyone who knows her, Yuuki appears on screen. Her back straight, a slightly dissatisfied curve tilts her lips down. What's clear is that she seems... maybe not angry- but frustrated is a good word for it. What's more is that she is dressed a little finer today. She's always dressed nicely, but it's just a bit more regal than normal.]

. . . It's been bothering me for a little while now [ Today only ]. I like to think that I am generally a tolerant person, but even I have limits. I do what I can to treat everyone with equal respect, no matter where they come from. But because of that I would prefer to be treated with the same amount of respect too.

[Haughty, one hand on her hips, the other lifts to rest against her chest.]

That's why I would like to correct a mistake! I am the pureblood princess Yuuki of the royal house of Kuran. My brother would not tolerate being so disrespected and neither will I. Now- because some of you might not have been aware, I forgive you. [She's understanding and kind, after all. She can forgive them despite the lack of proper respect.] But from now on I would like you to address me properly. 'Yuuki-sama' at the very least is appropriate enough.

[A short pause...]

And because I am understanding of other cultures, I will accept other equivalent forms of address. I thank you for your understanding and hope that this can clear things up for within the future.

[ooc: Someone is evented with one of the seven deadly sins. ANY GUESS WHAT IT IS. Also tags will be more consistent once off of work.]

[Happy White Day, Miracle Country! It seems that this year, Miracle Country hasn't been very celebratory - having skipped Valentine's Day entirely - but perhaps White Day is a chance to make up for that?

Not so much. As a means to "celebrate", the world's magic is doing an anti-Valentine's event. Suddenly, affection is not only frowned upon, but actively discouraged. Couples today will find all kinds of obstacles interrupting any attempts to be romantic with friends, family, and lovers.

Holding hands? Suddenly there's a tree root to trip you. Going in for a kiss? Suddenly there's an invisible wall blocking you from your partner. Trying to cuddle? Water balloons are getting tossed at your head, or a bucket of very cold ice water. Trying to... get intimate? Well, enjoy that incredibly loud and annoying alarm bell that's suddenly ringing and won't stop until you stop, or perhaps that feeling that your pillow is full of rose thorns...

All kinds of things can happen (and feel free to make up your own): water balloons, tree roots, even quicksand in places! Sudden gusts of wind, sudden rain showers, birds landing on your head and pecking until you stop, sudden patch of ice causing you to slip...

But maybe if you hide away, it'll be alright. It seems that Kiseki isn't always looking to disturb the couples, and those that find interesting hiding spots and solutions might be able to have a moment or two with their sweetheart. Hide away, and maybe it'll stop...

Except, take heart couples, because White Day isn't all for naught: as the evening approaches, characters will fell compelled to go to the ballroom where everything is set up for Kiseki's very own Bitter Ball, complete with all the party decorations! And an abundance of alcohol.

It's almost as if Miracle Country wants you to get romantic, though, despite the mixed messages: there's plenty to eat and drink, there's music playing with a big open dance floor, and lots of pretty decorations for White Day. But help the poor couples who decide to show up together, because as soon as they step inside, Miracle Country is forcing them to opposite sides of the room.]

⚡ 004 | Open to everyone

[The video starts up to show the facade of an old-fashioned toy shop colored with soft pinks and whites. A sign reading "Twin Bells" and a picture of the same is painted above the door.

But perhaps you noticed none of that because Utsusemimaru is standing in front of the door in a full bunny costume.

He is very enthusiastic about his new job.]

Come one, come all! At Twin Bells you can have a ball! We have toys of every color and shape, so come in, don't just stand agape! Bears and dolls so full of pluck and wishing cards to try your luck! Don't frown or cry or make a fuss - for fun toys you can count on us!

[ooc: This post is free for mingling, so please tag around with each other. Ucchii will be around to help you find the best toy you could wish for and to kick out any troublemakers should they start a ruckus.]

011 ✿ Video/Action

[Anyone spending the afternoon on the garden island may stumble upon part of the garden where there are vegetables growing. Sakura's there, working hard on pulling up weeds and turning the soil to start planting more vegetables, should anyone care to offer a hand or ask him what the hell is up.

There's also a basket next to where he's discarded his jacket, sleeves of his shirt rolled up as he works, and the basket's full of lots of different kinds of vegetables he uses in his cooking - lots of carrots, some bok choy, some kale and other leafy greens, and an assortment of other vegetables.

He's humming to himself, happily, not aware that the journal is recording him, as well.

Even if you don't find him on the garden island, a little while later, there's another video recording of him in the kitchen of the noodle shop, cutting up and peeling the vegetables he's just collected, starting on a broth for one of the many noodle dishes he makes at the shop.

And even if you don't see the videos, the smell is wafting out the front door to the shop, so perhaps you're just called in by the delicious smells and want to have lunch with a friend, or say hello to the workers at the noodle shop.]

Action || Open to everyone

[It's been getting cloudier and cloudier during the morning, and by the time noon rolls by, a big storm will begin, lasting well until tomorrow.

All of Miracle Country will be hit by it, so it might be better to seek out shelter in the hotels or other buildings, and perhaps retreat to the underground tunnels if you still want to hang out with someone during the evening. Or maybe you're Miko you don't mind the rain and the cold and prefer to run outside anyway. Whichever the choice, at last the cafeteria in the hotel will have plenty of hot chocolate ready for anyone caught up under the pouring rain.]

Accidental Video

[He thought he was supposed to be leaving this place. Yet here he is again, with those obnoxious women shoving a journal into his hands and telling him to write in it. He knew that those with journals were the ones who were not here short term.

He'd just been upgraded to one of the regulars in this place.

Personally, he'd rather just ignore the journal, but they kept insisting that he take it with him. It's in the middle of this struggle that the video function activates, giving everyone their first view at the newest visitor to Kiseki. Silver hair and violet eyes are unusual enough but there are several silver piercings in his ears that complement the most obvious feature--the large black tattoo adorning his neck.]

I don't want or need this sort of thing so I don't need you to demonstrate how it works. Just leave me alone. I have something I need to go do!

[OOC: Is your character a vampire? Please Read This!]

Action | Open

[Since he prefers face-to-face communication when he can get it, Daigo places his journal inside the pockets of his jacket, and takes a stroll through Kiseki, looking for known faces.

One very small, very red, very robotic T-Rex trails behind him.

There's no missing this pair as they walk through the islands.]

4th Wall Event - Final log || Open to EVERYONE

The 4th wall event is ending!

As everyone should already know, the visiting period is coming to an end. Even Kiseki itself seems to be aware of it, the cheerful decorations and even the blooming sakura trees returning back to normal, leaving a shower of sakura petals on the ground. Because it's a time for good-byes and an opportunity that doesn't arrive often, Kiseki will help make this separation a little easier!

All around the different islands, and even within the hotel rooms, characters might find baskets and boxes with various things. Cameras, photo albums, colored papers and various other things fit for scrapbooks, varied stationery for letters, and so on. There're even a few booths for purikura.

Even if your characters aren't the type to care for mementos, by the time the evening rolls by everyone will be sent one of Miracle Country's usual mental messages, urging them to go to the beach. There will be a beautiful sunset that will persist way into the night, but around midnight the sun will finally set and with it, the Mokona pins will activate and visitors will disappear back to their worlds.

Enjoy the time until then and thanks to everyone who joined us!

4th Wall Event - Second Log || Open to EVERYONE

[The 4th wall event continues!

Our old residents and new visitors will now have an opportunity to relax for a while. During the evening and through the night, the park and other places across the main island will be set up so everyone can have a nice time. Under the still stubbornly-blossoming sakura trees, large blankets covered with large cushions shaped like various CLAMP mascots - Mokonas, Kero, the lightning spirit, and others. The skies will be clear, and small, floating green lights like fireflies will illuminate it.

Across the island, a few spots will hold small bonfires, with baskets of food nearby for everyone to share. Even if they're not the type to mingle, people will find themselves outside, wearing pyjamas courtesy of Miracle Country, so they might want to get close and warm up. However, among these bonfires, a few will occasionally be surrounded by butterflies. At that time, a faint, harmless smoke will come out of them, causing those nearby to suddenly feel nostalgic. Perhaps it'll make them miss those who are still not around... Or maybe they'll appreciate the visits from home even better.

Of course, new arrivals could still happen. So don't lose hope just yet. For now, just enjoy the peaceful evening.
