+++ 奇跡国 - Miracle Country +++

[Since he prefers face-to-face communication when he can get it, Daigo places his journal inside the pockets of his jacket, and takes a stroll through Kiseki, looking for known faces.

One very small, very red, very robotic T-Rex trails behind him.

There's no missing this pair as they walk through the islands.]

THE 4TH WALL EVENT STARTS NOW!

It’s shaping up to be another ordinary day in Kiseki, until suddenly, your character is in the main park and despite the winter weather as of late, the trees in the park have all become cherry trees, all in bloom and raining sakura petals everywhere – it even seems as if it’s falling from the sky, too, mixed in with maybe some feathers too, if you look close enough.

Everything is set up like a big celebration is underway! There are balloons & signs hanging everywhere shaped like flowers, feathers, teddy bears, butterflies, chess pieces, dove motifs (like on her hat), bunnies, and things of that nature. There are also decorative fans with the same types of motifs throughout park. Throughout the entire island, there’ll be red strings connecting everywhere overhead, as well as stars and raindrops hanging from the blossoming trees. Once it starts to get dark each night, there will be lanterns to light your way.

You might think, well, it’s a festival, again. But that’s not what we’re celebrating.

You have to wait – there are all these new people here, too! These new visitors all arrive with a little Mokona pin that starts out black but will start turning white as the week progresses. For your new friends will only be here for this week only, and once the Mokona turns white, it’ll sprout wings, open a portal, and send your new friends back to their original worlds.

Until then, though, your new friends might be feeling a little confused! But Kiseki is taking care of you, too, visitors: from your Mokona pin’s jewel forehead, a projecting window will open with a hologram of a Welcome Center woman who will explain to you just what’s going on – this is a whole new world, and you were brought here to provide company to those who have been here for so long and are starting to miss you or want to meet you. You can’t escape, not for a week at least, but please don’t be scared. Time has been temporarily stopped back home in order to allow you to enjoy yourselves fully. So don’t worry, go and find those who are waiting for you.



[Please note that this event lasts February 15th until February 21st, and Kiseki's world will open up for visitors of all worlds.

A side-note to muns/those bringing in characters to fourth wall – while the fourth wall is indeed been broken, please don’t break it to the point where the characters would become aware that they aren’t real and that this is an internet-based rpg where each character is played by a mun.

[Studying the journal, she flips it around a couple of times, tapping the egg in the center. She prefers things like cupcakes, but…]

At least it’s cute. But how- [Her brows draw down. How is a journal supposed to actually communicate with others, even through handwriting? She presses the jewel in the middle again, before her eyes widen.

Wait-- those weird ladies said this was the video function, right?]

A-Ahem! Is this working? It seems a little far-fetched for a journal, but…_{Here goes nothing.}

[Drawing herself up, she holds a parasol over her head while she addresses her...journal.]

Excuse me. My name is Yuuki. Listen- I don’t really get the situation here. I was told I had a hotel room, or something, but… I can’t play this game. Unfortunately, I have a number of really complicated things to attend to back home and I can't afford the time to be taken away to... it's called Kiseki, right? So if you know where this really is, then please… any information would be appreciated.

[She bows politely, before rising. An after thought hits her.]

. . . Also I didn't have any money on me when I disappeared. Is that going to be a problem...? [Shoot...]

[Today might seem like just another regular, boring day here in Miracle Country. And it would be, except if anyone writes on their journals for whichever reason... They might notice something unusual happening.

Are your doodles coming to life? Did your grocery list materialize in front of you? Did you make an absent-minded comment about wanting a puppy and found yourself with a new pet? Or did you mention your ancient dragon warrior buddy and found it flying above you? Perhaps it's time to start being more careful with what you write down.]

[So, today is just another simple, pleasant day in Miracle Country, right? Everyone'll go on and do the usual routines, head to work, go to school...

But during the day, something might start bothering your characters. Something they're hiding from others. At first it might just seem like a simple annoyance, an unpleasant tingling, an uncomfortable feeling. If they just ignore it, though, it will grow. Bother them more and more, take over their thoughts, make their heart ache, make it difficult for them to move easily, even to breathe without feeling uncomfortable and achey.

Their deepest and/or darkest secrets are weighing them down, becoming a very tangible burden on them. And how do you get rid of a secret? You have to confess, of course. Telling someone what they're hiding will be the only way to rid themselves of it.]

[It's New Year's! Time to recharge your batteries, start fresh, make resolutions you won't follow through, or curse your luck that you're still stuck in a goddamn sparkly island. Whichever your choice, Miracle Country is set to celebrate and get everyone together.

Starting during the evening of the 31st, the park in the main island, as well as the shopping district and other main areas all around (the Welcome Center, the hotels, etc) will be decorated with lanters, christmas lights, and other colorful things. Even a few stray mistletoes might be found among the mix, although they'll be more rare than before. Tables with all sorts of holiday-themed food and drinks will be set all over the park & shopping district plaza, as well. And by the time midnight strikes, there'll be a huge fireworks display, visible from any point in the islands.

But that's not it!

A few days ago, everyone would've gotten a little note from a Kiseki lady, instructing them on a gift exchange the place has decided to have. How does this work? It's easy - everyone is assigned someone to get a gift to at random. They're meant to attend the end of year celebrations, in order to give that present to whoever was assigned to them.

If they fail to follow through (either they don't get the present or they do but don't go to the party), they'll face some retaliation. Since not wanting to participate in these means you're most likely a big grump, you'll get your own personal grey cloud following you around, in the spirit of old cartoons - it'll randomly rain or snow on you, and getting angry at it will only make it worse. Only through an act of sincere happiness/cheer can you make the cloud disappear.

[Wow, what was that massive wall of fire just now that manages to melt all the snow and singe some of the grass underneath? Why, that's just Zuko being his regular, moody self -- but wait, said moodiness seems less grumpy and more... sad.]

Wasn't I just telling you it was going to be both of us? [F- frand.]

[He starts blasting out more and more firebending, frustrated, angry, maybe even feeling a little betrayed -- even when he also knows that, really, it wasn't Aang's fault. It couldn't have been Aang's fault. If Aang had a choice, he wouldn't have left Zuko behind.]

[But without him--] What am I supposed to do?

[And just like that, the fire stops, abruptly. He blinks, surprised, because that obviously wasn't what was meant to happen--

-- and when he tries to do his firebending again, there's nothing but the slightest little puff of smoke]

[.............................]

[He sits down, heavy, and leans against a tree, folding into himself.]

I hate this place.

[The Mistletoe event is back! The older residents might remember our magical, moving pesky little plants which forced people to do certain actions in order to become unstuck from under them.

If your character gets stuck under them with someone else, here's the new list of possible options to become unstuck. They might have to:

1. - Kiss the other person
2. - Tickle them
3.- Give them a compliment
4. - Punch them
5. - Confess a secret to them
6. - Hug them
7. - Dance with them
8. - Sing to them
9. - Make a promise to them
10. - Make them blush
11. - Make them laugh
12. - Make them cry

How your character decides to fulfill the condition is up to them, although the mistletoes can be picky! So no back-handed compliments or anything like that.

The mistletoe will show up randomly starting today and until the 21st.]

[He's understandably confused when he wakes up near the fountain in the shopping district, the style of the buildings (and the fountain itself) revealing quickly that he's definitely not back in the Enchanted Forest, as he expected to be. Even more puzzling is that the bullet wound on his chest seems to have healed, although his shirt is still bloody and he can feel a faint scar there.]

[As he's trying (unsuccessfully) to get a sense of what the hell happened, the usual hoard of Welcome Ladies approach him, startling him. It helps that he's actually familiar with odd magic shenanigans, but as he gets a vague idea of where he is, he's starting to worry more and more]

Hey, I get this isn't the Enchanted Forest, alright, I just need to know if there's some way to return to where I was, or-- or to talk to the people I was with-- [He cuts off as the girls ignore him and simply wish him good luck and say goodbye, starting to leave. It's about that time that his journal starts to record a video]

Wait, wait! I need to know, I have to help Emma! She's in danger, I have to make sure she and Henry are...! [He soon realizes it's pointless as the girls keep dismissing him and chatting nonsensically over him, and he runs a hand through his hair, frustrated and looking around helplessly. The video cuts off for a while, as he goes around the shops and tries to find any clues. The Kisekians are as helpful as ever, being vacant or away, dismissing his questions unless it's to point him to the journal]

[He ends up giving in, as it's the only means of communication they gave him. Although the people he wants to meet wouldn't be there. Or so he thinks.]

Alright. ... Alright. [He'll try to trust the (supposedly) magic journal. And so he starts writing on it:]

I don't really know who can see this, but I really could use some help. Or some directions, at least. I don't belong here, I need to know what kind of world this is and if there's any way out of it. And I need to find a way to do it fast.

It was not a welcome that I expected beyond the veil, truth be told. I'm not sure there is anything at all I could have been prepared for.

[There's a quiet, hesitant laugh.] If nothing else, it seemed as though it would be much darker than this.

And though you are very kind, I'm afraid... writing isn't what I require, either. If all is well for those in life, nothing else is necessary. [For Gwen, Merlin, and... yes, and Arthur.] I have done what I needed to.

[Still, the ladies around him insist and he takes the journal with some confusion, frowning down at it as he sits under a tree in the park, looking around, wondering if there would be other spirits that would come greet him. That's what this is, right? But why would they, to someone unremarkable as he? Lancelot breathes out, opens to a blank page in the journal.]

My name is Lancelot. I cannot know who will read this, but I come meaning no harm. I'd like to know more about this land, if it's possible--if there is something to be known, I suppose.

[There's a pause, before he finishes.]

If the place I am to remain in is here, so be it. I accept that. [But admittedly this doesn't seem to be the work of the spirits or the Cailleach... then again what does he know?]
