+++ 奇跡国 - Miracle Country +++

[Her return has been mostly her trying to get herself settled in again, but now, Yuzuriha wants pick up where she started last.]

[Anyone passing by an ice cream shop in town by the name of "Sundaes at Kiseki" will find her standing outside of it in her new uniform with a tray full of sample in one hand and basket of sweets in another. Inuki is there, too, with his own little matching hat and floating around with some pamphlets in his mouth.]

Hello! Would you like to try a sample of our newest flavors today? We have Strawberry Shortcake on the right and Pink Lemondade to the left.

[Utsusemimaru has come out of his suspended animation, but he doesn't seem to be fully out of it at first glance.

He's been trying to get to work for the better part of this morning, but he keeps sitting down on the side of the road, or draping himself over benches, or curling up in warm patches of grass for a nap. He started recording a video on his journal, but gave up before he said anything and can't be bothered to turn it off.

One would think he's being positively slothful.]

[ It's a nice day, so rather than stay inside the school after classes let out, Kobato's sitting in the center of the plaza, leaning on the edge of the fountain and using that to write on. She's got her journal open, a private entry (maybe... who can say with this place), and is talking aloud. ]

I wonder if I can still call it a bucket list. An after the bucket list bucket list...? What do you think, Usagi-san? [ A glance up to the statue. After a moment of silence, she nods, and brings her pen back up to the paper. ]

I'm going to assume that silence means yes. [ But since when was Usagi-san very talkative to begin with.]

• Climb a mountain (or maybe just a big hill)
• Learn to swim (better)
• Share a milkshake with everyone
• Ride on a ship
• Run a marathon
• Visit all of the islands
• Run an advice column?

[ She hums and glances up in thought. There's so much she wants to do, writing it all down on paper is hard. As she goes to write her next item, the writing becomes faint. Out of ink? She puts it down and reaches inside her purse for another pen. As she reaches, though, a stuffed armadillo tumbles out. It almost falls into the water but she manages to (somehow) catch it in time. ]

T-That was close! [ So relieved. She hugs the 'puppy' or 'rat' or whatever it really is to her. ] I wont let you get ruined, or else my name's not Kobato Hanato! [ When she pulls back, she stares down at it a moment... and becomes a touch sad. ]

Yeah. I miss him too. [ A quick swipe across her eyes, and she sets the plush down atop her bag. ] But if he was here and remembered, he would want me to be happy. So I'll do that. But first... pen-san!

[ Oh right-- it's in the bag. ]

[Anyone who may stray near the beach today, or look at their journal, will find that there's a rather large ship waiting just off shore - The Jewel of the Realm - although it's easy to see that it's completely empty, save for the young man in lieutenant garb standing at the shore of the beach with a thoughtful frown, looking around when he spots the journal, as if it were waiting for him]

[He picks it up curiously, frowning thoughtfully as he examines it but then is quickly looking around, calling out]

Captain? [When there's no answer, there's a touch of concern to his tone] Brother? ... Liam, where have you wandered off to now?

[He can't even remember what happened -- he turned his head and suddenly his brother was missing. Did he leave without him to find this "Dreamshade", then? He sighs and presses his hands to his face -- and it's notable to see that, yes, he has two hands. No hook.]

Very well. If you're going to be stubborn and go off without me into this... "Neverland", then I have no choice but to follow you. [And although there's slight exasperation and worry in his tone, after a moment he smiles and starts heading off down the beach, in search of his brother and captain]




[ooc: Hook re-intro, although replaying the "deage" event to make him ooooh, about 300 years younger lol. Once the event wears off, however, he will be from the end of 3x17, The Jolly Roger.]

[There's a boy who should look familiar to a few of the people here, standing under the big sakura tree in the park, which he inevitably got drawn to. He stays there for a while, just quietly looking up at it, a sort of longing in his expression]

[Eventually he sits down under it, though, picking up the journal he was given to write a quick note in it]

Kurogane-san, Fay-san, Mokona... I don't know why we got separated, but I'll find all of you.

For now, I'm in a park in this city, under a sakura tree. I'll wait a while, and keep searching if you can't reply or don't show up.

[He figures it's smarter this way, since then they don't all keep wandering around and possibly missing each other. But he's worried about them splitting up]

[The very initial feed shows a crease to the brow of a fairly young looking kid, however it might rival to that of a very certain vampire hunting vampire here in Kiseki.]

So, what's so 'miraculous' about this place? Those women were annoying enough that I couldn't even tell how much of what they said was actually helpful. [No, more than just annoying. But anyway. He lets out a sigh]. . . I guess it all seems nice at first, or something, though. Or at least it looks like it.

[There's a bit of a frown afterward, though. There's something that's been bugging him, even in the short time he has been here.]

Ah. . . I want to ask, though: anyone see a guy named Zero? He just left the room for a moment, but now I don't see him anywhere. His lessons just ended, and he almost always lets me know if he's planning on going elsewhere, but I haven't heard anything, which of course really isn't like him.

[this is kind of scaring him, though he won't really admit it. Instead, he puts on a smile (maybe even a grin).]

He looks exactly like me, so he shouldn't be hard to find at all! Tell him Ichiru is looking, okay? That'd be great!

{ ACTION }

[Anyone near or around the Sakura Park might notice a young boy who is looking up at the majestic tree. He rather likes it, although is also rather distracted, because of the whole suddenly being in a new, unfamiliar place kind of thing. It's tough to tell exactly how he feels on the matter, however it isn't incredibly positive, if you look hard enough. At some point, he steps closer, bringing up a hand to lightly touch its wide base. It is rather pretty.

To those who may approach, however, you might notice something very familiar about him. The pale violet eyes, light silver hair that is more unkempt than not.

—Regardless, he does seem to be rather new, here.]

[Anyone who may have passed by Snow's class the last few days might have seen her busily working on something that wasn't necessarily for class - hunched over, she's painting little plastic eggs, making them cute with various designs and motifs. (and feel free to approach her about it, if inclined)]

[She knows that not everyone celebrates Easter here, so many coming from different worlds and different countries, but considering how a lot of people around her have been moody ever since the feathers and various other canon shenanigans, she's set out to maybe cheer some people up.]

[So today and tomorrow, your character will find a little sheet of paper slipped underneath their door, with cute little bunnies and eggs on the paper, encouraging your character to look for the little surprises in the park and around the shopping district.]

[And throughout the day, all these little eggs she's painted can be found, plastic and therefore not likely to smell bad, but cracking them open reveals little surprises: either candy, chocolate, sometimes coins of the currency here, little sheets of paper with a compliment, little toys like whistles or bouncy balls, etc.]

[Feel free to run into her as she's hiding them, smiling to herself as she works, and maybe, sometimes, looking a bit wistful - especially when she's in the process of hiding any eggs that have baby motifs on them, or, perhaps, unicorns.]

[Anyone who may stray away from the hotels today might come across this guy who in the mun's typical need for fanservice is currently training, coat discarded to the side and shirt loose on his shoulders as he throws himself mercilessly at a punching bag, clearly in the mindset of training but... looking distracted, all the same.]

[He tugs his shirt off after a moment, wiping at his forehead before tossing it absently towards his coat - and stretches a bit for a moment, and there's a nice display of all the scars across his back, chest, and shoulders before he flexes again and attacks the punching bag anew, grunting a little in concentration even when it's clear that his mind is elsewhere and he is, in his typical fashion, overthinking even as he attempts for impulse.]

[This continues on for a bit before he pulls back with a sigh, trying to catch his breath, looking frustrated - but not really at the punching bag so much as what he's thinking about. He bends down absently, pushing aside his shirt and coat and digging around his discarded weapons, retrieving his gun with a thoughtful frown - debating target-practice but knowing it'll only make him think more, not less.]

It’s the first day of spring in Miracle Country! While the last few days haven’t been terrible, weather-wise, today there’s a clear difference in how warm and sunny it is – it’s bright and warm and there’s a light breeze blowing, and the flowers are in bloom! Now that it’s spring, there’s more opportunities to go swimming or visit the beach without being too cold, or walk in the garden island and see all the flowers.

And the flowers really are blooming today. No matter where your character goes today, they’ll notice flowers. They can’t take a step without there being flowers blooming behind them, sometimes. And the trees in bloom are raining flowers down on them.

Some of the flowers are special, though. Depending on the color that falls into your character’s hair, they’ll be influenced slightly by that color. It’s subtle, nothing too over the top, just a gentle push like the gentle spring weather today.

Red will make your character feel flirty & romantic.
Pink will make your character feel timid & shy.
Purple will make your character feel cranky & irritable.
Yellow will make your character feel silly & playful.
Blue will make your character feel gloomy & sad.
White will make your character feel relaxed & dreamy.

The effect is very light, so it shouldn’t make your characters behave too much out of the ordinary – just enough to influence their general mood. It will last only for a short time before the flower will fall from their hair to the ground, perfectly harmless.]

[Happy White Day, Miracle Country! It seems that this year, Miracle Country hasn't been very celebratory - having skipped Valentine's Day entirely - but perhaps White Day is a chance to make up for that?

Not so much. As a means to "celebrate", the world's magic is doing an anti-Valentine's event. Suddenly, affection is not only frowned upon, but actively discouraged. Couples today will find all kinds of obstacles interrupting any attempts to be romantic with friends, family, and lovers.

Holding hands? Suddenly there's a tree root to trip you. Going in for a kiss? Suddenly there's an invisible wall blocking you from your partner. Trying to cuddle? Water balloons are getting tossed at your head, or a bucket of very cold ice water. Trying to... get intimate? Well, enjoy that incredibly loud and annoying alarm bell that's suddenly ringing and won't stop until you stop, or perhaps that feeling that your pillow is full of rose thorns...

All kinds of things can happen (and feel free to make up your own): water balloons, tree roots, even quicksand in places! Sudden gusts of wind, sudden rain showers, birds landing on your head and pecking until you stop, sudden patch of ice causing you to slip...

But maybe if you hide away, it'll be alright. It seems that Kiseki isn't always looking to disturb the couples, and those that find interesting hiding spots and solutions might be able to have a moment or two with their sweetheart. Hide away, and maybe it'll stop...


Except, take heart couples, because White Day isn't all for naught: as the evening approaches, characters will fell compelled to go to the ballroom where everything is set up for Kiseki's very own Bitter Ball, complete with all the party decorations! And an abundance of alcohol.

It's almost as if Miracle Country wants you to get romantic, though, despite the mixed messages: there's plenty to eat and drink, there's music playing with a big open dance floor, and lots of pretty decorations for White Day. But help the poor couples who decide to show up together, because as soon as they step inside, Miracle Country is forcing them to opposite sides of the room.]
