[It didn't take much beckoning to bring Jinora to the island. She's an air nomad, but she also has a strong connection to water. The breeze coming off the water reminds her of Air Temple Island. The ocean water washing over her bare feet reminds her of her grandmother and the healing pool. The gentle sea breeze reminds her of her father's airbending. The feeling of sakura blossoms brushing against her cheek reminds her of her mother's touch when Jinora is ill. The sound of the ocean waves reminds her of meditation sessions with her students, where they breathe in and out as one.
Jinora's heart swells with both warmth and longing. She misses everybody so much. But she focuses on the warmth. Jinora wades into the water until the waves come up to her knees, closes her eyes, and breathes in. Every little thing brings a fleeting glimpse of a memory or a half-remembered feeling.
The sunset basks her in an orange-and-yellow glow and she seems unaware that it's getting so late.]
