[For Chloe, the last week has been a pretty rough one for her. She's doing her best not to show it, of course, and the atmosphere of the party is certainly making her feel a little lighter than she might have otherwise. But well... one does not simply bounce back from a break-up, especially when you have intimacy issues. But whatever. SHE'S FINE. Totally in the mood to party. Sure.
She's not particularly thrilled to have just suddenly arrived at this part dressed for the occasion even down to the hairstyle. She's finding it more and more difficult to explain these sorts of things - and she flat-out refuses to acknowledge it could be "magic" (there has to be an explanation!).
But then, seeing the way everything outside of the ballroom and past the gardens is looking rather... destroyed and everyone's general unease, even she's not going to deny that maybe just a night to relax might do some people good. Some people. Not her, of course. In fact, when she's in the actual ballroom, she's spending the whole time staring at the food and drinks, making sure those haven't been spiked with something. NO, SHE IS NEVER OVER IT. Don't mind her shooting very long looks your way throughout the evening... she's taking notes.
But actually, she's spending most of the party avoiding the party... difficult, considering how few of them there are. But she's walking through the gardens, mostly, and focusing on that. Once the fireworks start, she'll sit and watch that. For the most part, she seems content to be on her own ("seems").]
