[The first thing he does when he goes back to normal is very, very quickly compartmentalize things. Taking a look at Bull, he looks entirely blasé and unconcerned about what just happened. Internally, he’s terrified, legitimately terrified of that level of power and magic, and how completely he was ‘changed’. It doesn’t sit right with him. Perhaps what doesn’t sit right for others right now is seeing his complete non-reaction coming back to normal. It isn’t his fault, really – it’s just an old habit.
Then, of course, a hand is touching at his chest – where a large dragon’s tooth necklace used to hang – and that’s what gets a reaction out of him. He looks around him, wildly at first, as if maybe the necklace has fallen to the ground. And once he’s sure he can’t see it, he’s tearing across Kiseki in search of it, so try not to get in the way of a barreling bull on a mission.
He didn’t have it during the event. It makes sense that it wouldn’t return – no matter how desperately he wants to find it. Having that necklace, his connection to ‘his’ Dorian, maybe being here a little easier – knowing that he was still connected to him. And now it’s gone. Once it’s clear it’s gone, well… he isn’t happy about it. How could he be? And you might catch him looking upset about it before he, again, internalizes it into a non-reaction. There’s a tension to his shoulders, though, that he can’t quite hide.
Later in the afternoon, he has a large stick. And he’s going to ask you to hit him. Or maybe you’ve just witnessed him being hit by someone else. In any case, he has some shit to work through. Normally, he’d love the silly, cutesy decorations – but now he’s just not in the mood, and it’s clear.]
[Grumbles] Magic crap…
[Grunts a bit, stretching out, his stomach looking rather dark and bruised from all the self-inflicted abuse] Come on! Again!
