[Unlike with some other feelings he's gotten from others, this one is something he knows doesn't belong to him as soon as it hits... and the further the feelings progress, the easier it is to connect them with a story Stiles remembers all too well, Porthos' words about his father, what he hoped for-- his mouth presses into a thin line, unhappy (and yet there's no pity, nothing like that, just the grating unfairness of it all, because a guy as great as Porthos would have deserved a better dad), until it changes...
... and, in the end, when the memories are gone and the orb disappears, Stiles stands silent for a moment, with a faint smile, before stepping forward to hug Porthos. There's very little else to do, really, and damn, at least your mom must've been awesome, and that's plenty.]
