[Friday April 25th, 2008 at 8:26pm] grease_monkey Hey Everyone, I first want to apologize. My last post was a bit impulsive. I shouldn't have said anything about removing anyone from the game. It was never my intention. However, I have felt a little ignored lately. I would like you all to know that any post by a mod's character journal should be considered a mod post and if requested, should be replied to. We don't have a mod journal because we didn't think it was necessary. Perhaps we were wrong. I guess I was hoping to get the attention of those who have not been replying to the OOC posts by posting the activity check, so I apologize once again if it came across more harsh than I intended. With regards to that thread post, I had requested that everyone reply with threads they had planned and any available characters. Some people responded to it, or to similar posts. Some didn't. As a mod, I find it frustrating to be ignored or only responded to when something is deemed worthy of a response. I would ask, that in the future, if a request for a response is made in an OOC post, that everyone respond. That would prevent any future activity checks. Upcoming Day Change [Thursday April 24th, 2008 at 10:06am] light_chaser We were supposed to do day change on Monday, but I forgot. So we will be doing it this coming Monday. Start wrapping up your threads and be thinking about your threads for the second day in Vegas. If you haven't responded to the post regarding threads, please do so here. We do not want to restrict the opportunity for spontaneous threads, but if someone wants to do one, then we would like them to know which characters would be available, if any, to play in an OTA thread. In fact, we'll make this an activity check as some people have not responded to the last couple of OOC posts that I have made. We have never done this before because we have never had a problem with it, but it seems that lately people either aren't paying attention, or they don't care enough to respond. If you do not respond to the above mentioned thread by May 1st, we will assume that you no longer have interest in this game and we will remove you. If you have already responded, thank you! Hi [Thursday April 17th, 2008 at 4:12pm] light_chaser I just wanted to let you all know that I'm thinking about changing the way we do our days. As you can see we are still on January 10th and we are in the middle of April. The way it has been going we cover one day every two or three weeks in real time. I want to get it more in line with real time, just for holidays and things like that. So our characters aren't celebrating Easter in December. I'm thinking that we will start doing week changes instead of day changes. And these will last about two weeks in real time. Weather will be posted for each day. And this way people will be able to do threads that don't have to wait for a day change to happen. Like Vegas for example. We have a few people who are waiting for a day change so they can play out the threads they have planned for day 2. If we were going week by week, they wouldn't have to wait for the day change. They could just post their thread up and title it with the date and day of the week. And we will be able to go to more places for a longer period of time instead of waiting a month and a half to get to Canada from Vegas. After Vegas I'm thinking they are going to be skipping way ahead in time to the last week of May. Then we will start with this new kind of day change. What do you guys think? Thoughts, feelings? So far Lana’s going to look around the ship that day to make herself more familiar with her new surroundings. Drake, as he has a tendency to do, will be scurrying around the rafters and spot her or some such and thus a thread with two characters interacting will be born. Now! There’s no reason why two must be the limit for said thread. Two may be company, but three isn’t necessarily a crowd in this case, or however many want to join in. Plots!! [Saturday April 5th, 2008 at 9:35am] light_chaser Hey guys! We have three days in Vegas for our chars! It looks like most people have things planned out for the first day at least. But I thought it would be nice to maybe have a place to flesh things out for the following days as well. These are some of the things I had in mind for some of the crew. Let me know if you don't want to do it or already had something else in mind. And feel free to post what you have in mind for your chars as well! Lightning Sale- Vivvy is going to go make a huge sale to the city. They use a lot of electricity in Las Vegas! Anyone who wants to join in is welcome! Diamond Sale- Nate is going to be selling the diamond to the buyer they had prearranged with in Vegas. He doesn't really have anyone to go with him, so anyone is welcome to join! Other than these two things, I think the rest is pretty much play time. All our new characters will be brought in on the first day, it looks like. So we have that covered. Vivvy is only tied up for the lightning sale, but other than that she is free to play with. Wyatt will be introduced to the ship on the first day and should be available to play with after that.
