Basil was about to start carving some curlicues and things into the side of the ship with his fingernails. This was insane. He should just get out and roam the city. He should feel comfortable with doing such. It was then that he heard someone approaching the ship. Canting his head to the side he stayed completely still. He still was a firm believer if he couldn't see them they couldn't see him and if he stayed still then he was invisible. Well not really but he still had those actions.
The voice sounded really familiar, but it was slurred. Basil's brows drew together as he watched his twin come up on the ship, a woman under his arm and very unkempt looking. Basil sighed, knowing full and well that his brother had to be drunk. Or something. Something had to be wrong for him to get drunk, unless the woman had something to do with it. Right? It was Edwin, Edwin was never like this.
Basil wondered if he was dreaming or if this was a new experience with his personalities. Were his personalities coming out and making themselves visible out in the open air now? His heart started beating a little faster as Edwin moved closer. Surely he was real. Surely he was Edwin, his loving brother that he hadn't seen in a long time.
It was then that all his panic was noticeably in vain when Edwin fell on him. He was drunk, and something else. He could smell the alcohol on Edwin. Basil chuckled, wrapping his arms around his brother, happy to see him. Happy to know that he wasn't going even more crazy at least. He looked up at the woman, shading his eyes with one hand and smiled at her.
"I guess I'm that readable hmm?" He eyed Edwin as best as he could with their current seating situation. "Why...are you ok?" He looked up at Vala with raised brows, "It's nice to meet you and thanks for...er...bringing him here. Are you...together?" He shook his head at that, "I thought he was still pretty much asexual." He lifted a shoulder, trying not to jostle Edwin too much. He had a fear of making Edwin have hang over symptoms with moving around too much. "You've got to be going crazy too. I've never seen you like this. What's the matter with you? Something happen...to...um work or something?" Basil was at a loss as to what would make his brother this...way.
Glancing up at Vala again he studied her. She didn't really seem like the type that Edwin would go for though. She was pretty, yes, but...well Edwin was Edwin. He liked...things that were set in their ways and...well...more uniform. Unless Edwin had changed so much in such a short period of time.
"I'm confused." Basil muttered, leaning his head back against the ship and closing his eyes. "I don't get why you look the way you do, why you have a woman with you and why are you drunk?" He whimpered and rolled his head back and forth on the wall behind him. He was starting to get a headache from thinking too much and the personalities seemingly wanting out. Especially one in particular of the feminine sort since Edwin was here and obviously with someone else. She wasn't too happy at all.
