Friday
Who: Pavla and Nate When: Morning, right after Nikita leaves Where: Captain's quarters What: Hmmm....I wonder
Pavla couldnt help the smile that spread across his face as Nate ushered their unexpected friend from the room. The smile wasnt caused from a dislike for Nikita. To the contrary, the small Romanian found her endearingly sweet. Any other time, he would have found her departure disappointing. But the golden-headed man who deftly extracted the woman from the bed and herded her toward the door, was wearing only boxer shorts and Pavla could still feel the residual warmth of the strong man's body pressed against his own.
With his fever abated, the tiny mutant found his hunger returning. The most urgent of which was a need that he had rarely felt in his young life, due to the nature of the men he had bedded in his native Bucharest. But with this new-found captain, Pavla was finding his hunger to be growing, his fear and worry over Drake only seemed to add flame. He needed this tall, tender man to claim him, to push away the nightmare memory of the large feral and make only this moment reality.
When Nate turned toward him with the extra key in hand, Pavla felt a rush of relief. "A captain should have extra lock, no?" he nodded trying to hide the underlying concern, "maybe alarm sounding to you when you go away and someone comes in..." The shadow mutant's heart pounded and a small hand lifted to his chest, splaying there as if to calm it then jumping to his hair which must look a mess. Did he look like a street rat? Wasnt that what Drake had called him?
Clearing his throat, Pavla added, "Your safety is my concern. What if it had been a killer to come in?"
