Wyatt Valance ([info]high_flyer) wrote in [info]kings_ransom,
Wyatt shook his head. "Nah... you didn't. What time is it?" He watched her walk over to sit on the bed across from him. Noting her discomfort he raised a brow. "You ok?" He blinked his bleary eyes a few times.

When his wings unfurled and Eliza screamed, he winced. "Shit. Sorry!" He hadn't meant to scare her. "Habit. I usually have more room than this." He smiled sheepishly as his wings rustled into the pockets set into his back. Shrugging his shoulders as he stood he went to the bathroom to relieve himself.

Upon his return he remembered that she had asked him how he was feeling. "Yeah, other than a headache I feel ok." The coffee he'd had last night had sort of lessened the hangover. He sat back down on the unmade bed and saw his t-shirt hanging on the bedpost. He reached for it and pulled it over his head. His button up was there, too. Apparently he'd slept in his slacks.

He needed a shower and a change of clothes. And some food. He was starving. And a few seconds after that though occured to him, his stomach growled loudly. Making Kitty chirrup once more. He looked over at Eliza as she answered his question. "Not much. The two guys and the ship. I don't remember anything past leaving the bar, though." He grimaced.

"Sorry if I was any kind of burden last night." Rolling his shoulders, and his neck he looked at the shoes and socks that had been set next to the bed. He met her gaze again. "Thanks for taking care of me." He knew Eliza had to be behind it, somehow. If she hadn't, who knew where he'd be now. Sleeping next to a trashcan in an alley, probably.
