Alex chuckled, “I very well could be looking for other means of payment.” He gave her a wink, and then shook his head. “No, all you ever have to do is ask and you shall receive my dear, Mag.” He nodded his head, meaning every single word of it.
Bright eyes watched her for a moment, and the corners of his lips tugged up into a smile. If she would’ve said anything about a draft, or gust of wind and a possible Marilyn Monroe moment, Alex would’ve said that they should forget the dancing and find the nearest vent.
Alex laughed and nodded his head in agreement. “Yeah, but that’ll be alright won’t it?” He gave her another wink and paused in his dancing. “I’m sure that as soon as they screw up, if they do that is, that they’ll run far, far, far away. I know I would.” He nodded once again, running his thumb over the back of her hand.
He looked ahead, and then back over at her with a smile. “Yup, of course, but it’s what makes Vegas, Vegas.” He lifted a shoulder, tilting his head down a little bit as she stepped closer to him. He rolled his eyes with a groan, “It was alright.” He let out a small laugh, reaching up with his free hand to rub the back of his neck. “Cody and I met some people at the bar we went to. They were mutants, and oh dear God I thought all sorts of hell was going to break loose. Do you know how hard it is to keep your cool when everyone else around you is about to snap?” He rolled his eyes again, “I don’t know, but I’ve heard they’re on the ship.” He shrugged his shoulders. “So, I guess we’ll see how they interact with the crew here.” He smiled over at her, and then leaned over to kiss her cheek. “What about you? Have fun with Niki?” He raised a brow, smiling at the mention of his sister.
He took a deep breath. “What club do you want to hit? It’ll have to be a twenty-one and younger club since…you know, I’m underage.” He made a slight face. There were times when he wished that he was older, but his mother had always said to never wish your life away.
Honestly Alex was just happy to be spending time with Mag, and he’d tell her about the sale later. After they’d had their fun.
