Nikita cast a dejected look at both of them, her bottom lip poking out as she was moved and placed outside. She let out a soft sigh, knowing that Nate was right. But still, she was fine and she knew that.
Shaking her head, she shoved her hands down into her pockets. The happiness that had been bubbling inside her started to drift away, the dark gloom of impending depression tried to replace it. Taking in a deep breath she shook her head once again, biting the inside of her cheek as she scuffled along the hallway.
Her brows furrowed, and a smile pulled up the corners of her lips. She knew of one person she could pounce on. If she could find him. He would protect her from the big bad doctor.
She thought for a moment, where would be the best place to find him? Her lips pursed for a moment and she started off in the general direction of his room. Finally she caught sight of her ‘prey’, eying him for a moment before she pounced on him. “Basil!” She cried, eyes a bit wide. “You are Basil at the moment aren’t you?” Her pale gaze narrowed, eying him carefully for a moment. “You’ve got to hide me!” She nodded her head, “Nate won’t help me, and says I have to go for my physical. I don’t wanna!” She whined at him, mustering up her most pathetic puppy face that she could.
