Vala Rush ([info]_shimmer_) wrote in [info]kings_ransom,
Vala’s brows rose at the chair that the man pushed out, and then the simple command that he gave. Slowly she sank down into the chair, crossing her legs and placed her hands in her lap. Licking her lips she looked over to the waitress, giving her a slight smile and signed for her regular drink of choice. A somewhat watered down Grey Goose Vodka mixed with cranberry juice and a slice of lime. A smirk pulled up the corners of her lips, and she let out a short breath through her nose. Oh she could do him for free; she wasn’t a whore like so many of the other girls were there. At least she didn’t consider herself to be one. She would give head, and hand jobs for a price if the guys insisted on it, but actual sex? No, she preferred actually having sex on her own terms and not getting paid for it.

Picking up her notebook, she eyed him carefully for a moment before she started writing again. 'And who said I wouldn’t do you for free? Of course you’d have to pay for a lap dance, but anything other than that could be free. If you play nice, that is.' She held the notebook out to him, smirking still with a teasing light dancing in her eyes. She waited until he’d finished reading, and dropped it back into her lap.

She nodded her head to the waitress as she brought their drinks back, and took a small sip of hers. It wasn’t enough to get her drunk, over the years she’d built her tolerance up to alcohol just like she had drugs, but still she didn’t like feeling tipsy while working. She could work high, but not tipsy apparently. With drugs everything was just enhanced, with alcohol things got fuzzy and her movements sluggish. She didn’t like that feeling at all.

Vala raised her hand up to her throat when he asked if she was deaf or mute. She picked up her notebook again, 'Do you mind if I smoke while we talk?' She wrote out, canting her head to the side with a slight smile. Placing her notebook on the table she waited on his answer, picking up her drink again and took another sip. Licking her lips she let her gaze flick back to him. She noticed the pendant he wore around his neck, alright so he was in the medical profession, and then her eyes flicked to his hands. Not married, but went to… Her eyes narrowed a degree as she tried to focus on the name of the college he’d attended. Duke? Impressive. So he’s a doctor, probably. Doubtful that he’d be a nurse. He didn’t look like the type and plus with the kind of cash he was sporting it was only fitting that he was, in fact, a doctor. But what sort of medicine did he practice? She wondered as she took another sip of her drink and sat it down.

She also wondered why he wanted her. There were other girls there that were prettier than she was; other girls there that were far more talented than she was on the poles. She didn’t understand why a man like him would want to see her, to speak to her one-on-one since that’s apparently all he wanted from her, at the moment.
