I don't really have much to add to that except that I'm going to try and make 80k words. If I run out of plot I might have to add another side story or something...

I went into my photobucket account yesterday to find that four of my images had been marked as inappropriate.

None of them were new though. One of them was the GIF of Hitler eating a melon and two of them were of icons showing a sim in the shower - WITH NO NAUGHTY BITS SHOWING - they were CLEAN!

The GIF had been on my account for months, but worse is that those icons had been on my account for something like 2 years. So why now?

Last week I bought a USB turntable and a Freeview Set Top Box from Aldi. Now usually stuff from Aldi is really good and I've never had a problem with their stuff before.

But both of these items? They are most likely going to have to be returned.

The set top box keeps crashing or resetting at inconvenient moments. Hubby tried doing a software update and it crashed at 80% every time. Talk on the internet is showing that a lot of people are having these problems and people have tried and failed to get through to support.

The USB turntable - well, it works, but the sound input level is way too high and the audio is clipping and distorting. I've been through all the settings on both my desktop computer and the laptop and have failed to turn up any way to bring the input level down, and there is no way to change it on the turntable itself. Once again, searching the internet brings up people who have had the same problems, so I've fired off an email to support this morning, but I'm not expecting any intelligible or relevant response.

So, we're going to give it a couple more days to see if any solutions present themselves, then we'll probably end up taking them back. Shame really. :/

I have now made it to 65,272 words. I'm not quite done yet. The main plot is done, it's just... tidying up the loose ends and a bit of an epilogue type thing.

I'm hoping to make it to 70,000 words before I'm truly done, but I'm not sure I have enough left in it for another 5000 words. We'll see anyway.

Then one day I might tidy it up properly and stick it on ff.net or something. Maybe.

This is the longest thing I have ever written though. My previous longest was a Naruto fanfic that came to just under 32,500 words, so I've more than doubled that now. ^_^

Edit: I do have enough for 70k - easy. I still haven't explained what happened to Ryou cos he wasn't in the story at all - and I have notes for that. Yeah!

(Yes, my story is still lame. :P)

I made it... 50,000 words. *gasp* These last few paragraphs have been like pulling teeth. I'm not happy with them and I may end up pulling them from the final draft, but I MADE IT!

It's only half way through November too!

But I can't stop here - I estimate that I need at least another 15 - 20k to finish the story off.

Now that I wrote those difficult paragraphs I finally know where I'm going next. I just need to get Kaiba to threaten to wipe the Amazons off the face of the earth with one of them satellites left over from before Kaiba Corp was a gaming company so that they'll leave him alone and we'll be all set for the final stretch. XD

I just made it past the 45,000 mark, so I have less than 5000 words to go.

I made well over 5000 words yesterday, but I know I won't manage that many today. I have other things that I need to do, plus I'm at a bit of the story where I'm not quite sure where I'm going or how to link it to the next part.

I should reach 50,000 by tomorrow though. ^_^

I made it to 40,043 just over 5 minutes ago. That's another huge milestone reached.

Less than 10,000 to go!
