Across the Night(Harvey and Max too if he wants to catch up with them)
Across the night
It was the moon that stole my slumber
Across the night
I fell in love with people sleeping
And hugged a man's arthritic shoulder

I fell tired, asleep in a golden ocean
Your eyes perspired, a spike in my fascination

It was late. But that didn't matter to Holly. She knew how to get out from time to time. Lately she just felt a little crowded. It was worth the repercussions. And there was no doubt she'd be caught sooner or later. Maybe soon...but hopefully later. She felt it was worth the risk. A little adventure was healthy. Being a little rebellious and wild was earned. She wasn't doing anything damaging. Besides, she could soften up her father. It wasn't as if she'd get in REAL trouble.

Maybe she thought that the long jacket she was wearing was inconspicuous. It was winter. It was cold out. It wasn't much of a disguise but that was all she had in terms of disguises. She thought of wearing sun glasses. But really....that was just dorky.

She didn't even get far out into her freedom. This time she made it to Skyline and then sort of chickened out. This place was creepy right? She'd take a walk through the place and then get back. She was old enough to go out. She was old enough to be accountable for her actions and for her own life. If she wanted to take a midnight stroll through Skyline apartment then where was the harm!?

Apparently not here at Skyline.

Truthfully Holly was disappointed by the lack of excitement that was supposed to be springing out at her around every corner. But as she rounded the building through the endless halls there was nothing. Not even a domestic fight coming from the rows of doors. There wasn't any goose bumps forming on her fore arms or the feeling that something strange went on in and around here. It was boring.

She huffed.

She didn't know what she had really expected. She'd heard the rumors but here say was only a little part ofreality. She guessed she'd make another loop of the place and go back home before her father sent out the JH Calvary...or Max. Suddenly, she heard footsteps. And that was who she naturally assumed it was- Max. She leapt around the corner with a smug and devilish smile worn on her lips and gave a frightful "BOO!" as she landed on her two feet.

But it wasn't Max.
