According to this site, Jared Padalecki will be a special guest at Creation Entertainment's "Salute to Supernatural, Smallville and Buffy/Angel" in Chicago coming November 10-11, 2007. Other special guests will be Nicholas Brendon (plays Xander Harris in BtVS), Samantha Ferris (plays Ellen Harvelle in SPN) and Fredric Lehne (plays the Yellow Eyed Demon in SPN).

Welcome to jaredp_fans! This is the first asylum about the wonderful and talented actor Jared Padalecki on insanejournal. If you are a Jared fan to any extent, this is definitely the right place for you. I hope you will have a lot of fun here! Before you join, please make sure to read the rules.

R U L E S:

#1 Considering that jaredp_fans is an asylum about Jared Padalecki, all posts must be, in some way, about Jared!

#2 You are allowed to post anything that is Jared-related! This includes icons, pictures, picspams, news and random I-love-the-cute-shaggy-haircut-he-has worshiping posts. Also allowed are fanfiction of any genre (means slash, het, gen whatsoever)! This includes not only RPF/RPS (Real People Fiction/Real People Slash) but also, for instance, Supernatural fics, because it is, in some way, still related to Jared.

#3 If you post fanfiction, please make sure to use the following (or a similar) header to warn/inform other members properly:

Title:
Author:
Pairing:
Genre: (means slash, het, gen)
Warnings: (means violence, gore, angst etc)
Rating:
Word Count:

The bulk of your fanfic must go under a lj-cut.

#4 The lj-cut is a nice invention, it prevents other members from scrolling down the page forever. So please spare them the trouble and use it, it’s not that difficult!
Picspams, single pics over 480x250 and very long posts must go under a cut. You may post up to three teaser icons on icon posts, but the rest must also go under a cut!

#5 The asylum is organized by tags. Please make sure to use them! At the moment I am the only one who can create new tags. Only tags I’ve already created can be added by the member. So if you need a new tag to add to your post, please let me know. You can write a note at the end or top of your post saying, for instance, you need a new tag for “comiccon”.

#6 Promoting other asylums is allowed! If you know of an asylum that is somehow related to Jared and needs pimping, please comment on this entry. There you will also find further information on this topic.

#7 Please be nice!! No bashing of other members just because they may have a different opinion! This is supposed to be a cozy and enjoyable place for all Jared fans and not some random verbal-war-battlefield.
