Koyasu & Ruiza: Lost in the labyrinth [PG]
Ruiza sighed softly as he finished the note to Koyasu. He was finished with work and though it was a few hours to dawn, he wanted to see the tiger. He left his office and slid the note under Koyasu's office door before heading to the garden. He wanted to look around since he hasn't been there in so long. He walked around, smiling softly. "Yue's outdone himself this time," he said softly, walking through the hedge of the labyrinth, not paying attention to where he was going.
Koyasu passed by Ruiza's office, quiet as he noted that the vampire's scent was faint. He furrowed his brows a little, wondering where he could be aside from his room when it was so near to dawn. He made his way further down the hall to his own office and stopped as he saw just a shadow or something beneath the door. "What's this...?" He unlocked his office door and pushed the door open to see the small letter. He blinked and picked it up, soon reading it and stuffing it in his pocket as he made his way outside.
He smiled softly as he walked around the labyrinth before looking up at the sky. He gasped softly, seeing how late it was. He looked around, realizing he was lost. He whimpered softly, and started walking again, hoping he'd find the way to the entrance so he could get inside at least before the sun came up. "Oh...Someone help me..." he said softly, practically running through the maze.
The tiger had gotten outside just in time to see the change in the scenery - getting close to dawn. He frowned hard, staring toward the labyrinth and wondered if Ruiza had been stupid enough to get lost inside. He jogged toward the entrance, his suit jacket flaring up some as he did so before stopping and smelling the air. Ruiza was inside, all right. "Damnit, Ruiza," he growled before dashing into the maze to save the lost fledgling.
Other than getting even more lost, Ruiza couldn't find the entrance. He whimpered again, staring up at the sky. He fell down to his knees, just watching the sky. "I don't want to die..not anymore," he said, still watching the sky. "Help!!!"
Takehito's sensitive ears flickered, hearing the vampire's voice. He ran faster, hearing the birds chirping as they were starting to wake up from a long night's rest. He ground his teeth together, following his nose to get to the lost youth.
He slowly stood up, whimpering softly as he started walking again, hoping to find his way out of the labyrinth or at least someone who was out before dawn. "Please....Please let there be someone else out here."
Coming round the corner quickly, Koyasu nearly slammed right into Ruiza but managed to stop himself before latching onto the fledgling's wrist. "Keep up," he said as he pulled Ruiza along and back out the way he had come in.
Ruiza kept walking, almost slamming into Koyasu when he came around the corner. He was so happy to see the tiger that he didn't even realize he was being half-dragged out of the labyrinth. He kept up with the tiger, trying to hurry back inside the building. He whimpered softly, watching the sky as Koyasu pulled him along with him.
As soon as they reached the side entrance, Koyasu pushed Ruiza into the mansion, growling loudly as he did. His heart pounded furiously in his chest, angry and relieved that he had been able to get to the fledgling in time. "What the hell were you doing by getting lost in that labyrinth so close to dawn?" he snapped.
He panted softly, trembling at how close he had been to being burned. He looked up at Koyasu, wide-eyed. "I got lost...I still had a few hours before dawn when I went outside. I was just looking around...I didn't think I'd get lost.." he said softly, looking down. "Thank you for finding me."
Again Takehito growled, anger still burning as he stared at the young vampire even as he thanked him for saving him. "I don't want you going into that labyrinth unless you have a shifter or protection from the sun with you. Do you understand?" he questioned, tone harsh.
He flinched and nodded, still looking down. "I'm sorry," he whispered. "I won't do it again."
Heaving out a loud growl, he huffed and relaxed some. "Good... Now. What was that note for that you had slipped under my door?"
He looked up at Koyasu before looking down. "I just wanted to see you..."
His ears lowered a little, his anger subsiding more. "... Oh..."
He nodded a little before looking up again. "I..I should get back to my room..before the sun comes up fully."
Koyasu nodded some. "That would be best," he said softly.
He leaned up and kissed Koyasu's cheek. "I'm sorry for worrying you...and thank you again for saving me. I might've been happy to lose my life a few months ago..but not now."
The tiger stood still when his cheek was kissed, confused for a moment before it dawned on him and he nodded dumbly as he didn't know what to say to him. "... A-alright. Sleep well."
"Can we meet later?" he asked, stepping away from the tiger. "I really just wanted to sit down and talk for once.."
"Alright... Just call my room later when you wake up," he said.
He smiled and nodded. "Alright. Thank you again." He practically ran back to his room, trying to stay away from the windows.
