I owe you all a great big apology. Humongous, ginormous, Jupiter sized apology, actually, but who's really paying that close of attention, huh? This is your friendly neighborhood moderator who has been slacking on her job. Yes, that's right, I'm calling myself a slacker and meaning it. I've been neglecting the comm entirely and there's not even a good reason. Well, actually, there's a reason in that I created the comm so I might have Janto access at work and then work had to go and take away internet access for us all because SOME people were abusing it (not me, my stats at work never wavered in the slightest, so I'm not the reason we lost the internet). So I kind of fell into an IJ "funk" in that it was just too depressing to sign onto my own journal to look at what was going on.
For all this neglect, I'm sorry. That said, we're moving on and I'll try to be a better mod and keep things archived/tagged/etc properly.
I'm posting this, also, because I'm sure you guys would love to see pretty pictures of Dragon*Con 2008 and, in particular, Gareth David-Lloyd prettiness. Here is a link to my girlfriend's entry with pictures of some of the panels/costumes and some (frighteningly enough) even contain pics of me. Please don't let that scare you off, though. First picture she's posted is of the beautiful GDL at the autograph table she snapped. *chuckles* He was incredibly sweet and she was adorably nervous taking the picture so I get a good dose of the warm fuzzies everytime I look at the picture.
For those who just want to see his picture, I'll cut it below. So, thanks for letting me rant in my apologies and in squeeing over meeting Gareth because, guh, trust me it could be a hella lot longer!
