"No."
"But—"
"No."
"Jin, he has your glasses, and—"
"I don't care. There is some other way."
"There isn't, though," Fuu wheedled. "He's leaving town tomorrow, you heard that. Which means we only have tonight. And the only way to get into his mansion tonight is –"
"We could still break in," Mugen interrupted.
"No," Fuu and Mugen said simultaneously.
"We've been over this," Fuu continued. "Even if you two could fight your way past all the guards – which I'm sure you could," she added hastily. "It would cause too much of a commotion. We'd never get Jin's glasses back. We'd end up running and we'd never get into this city again."
Mugen grunted as if that wasn't particularly a concern of his. Fuu sighed.
"Anyway, there's only one real way to get into his mansion tonight, and it's too dangerous for me. You have to, Jin."
"I refuse. I'm not doing that again."
Fuu stamped her foot. "Jin! What other choice is –" her voice broke off as Jin's eyes glinted. Slowly, she followed his gaze.
"No. It would never work," she said dubiously.
"You would be surprised. It will work," Jin's lips curved.
"What?" Mugen said, bristling under their gaze. "What will work?"

The door guards reached for their weapons at the sounds of footsteps on the dirt, but relaxed as they saw the woman approaching. She wore a cheap kimono, paint done to make her face look harsh, and hair falling in curls out of its knot. Her strides were long and fabric gaped open between her legs.
She was definitely one of the boss's.
Mugen could see the guards leer as he approached. He tried in vain to adjust the kimono to better cover his crotch.
