Ethan walks out to the shoreline, feeling the wet sand between his toes. He's still got his swim trunks on, but the night air brings a breeze over the water, and he's wearing a light windbreaker -- one that now has a slight discoloration over the pocket from where Mason broke Team Swan's egg. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and it's only a few short taps on the screen before the call is sent (Jodi is in his "favorite contacts"). He waits for her to pick up.
