Introduction
My name is Peter Petrelli. You might have heard of my brother Nathan, the senator. A lot has happened over the last couple of years with all of us. I'm not the same person I was just a few short months ago. Hell, I'm not the same person I was one month ago. Life changes on a daily basis and more often than not it changes a lot faster than you're ready for. It's just one of those things, though. You can't stop it. Sometimes you can change it, but you can't really stop it completely.

You just have to deal with whatever comes next instead.

Abilities change a person. Both for the bad and for the good. I used to think that these abilities were going to help me change the world, to save the world. Maybe they have in some cases, but the truth is I don't know what I'm doing here. One person tells me I have a job to do and the next says I have to do something completely different.

At first I wasn't sure who to believe, but I'm starting to get a clearer idea. Just wasn't what I thought it was going to be or that I'd be making friends with someone who's tried to kill me and my family or destroy the world on a regular basis.
