Hey everyone! I've got Kyle Kacik here. He was born and raised in Cape Fear, with a father who's a surgeon at the hospital, a sister (Jenny!) off at med school, and a mother that left when he was six. He graduated the local high school three years ago, and went off to New York City for college. Except it took two years for him to get "sick of it," and he came back home.
So the resident slacker has been back home for a year now. At his father's insistance, he got a job at the local Starbucks, and he also plays buckets around town in his free time. There's a bunch more on him in the journal, if you'd like to check him out.
That being said, he could use some friends. Or acquaintances. Or ex-one-night-stands of any type. Or... customers whose orders he can screw up. So, yeah, any plots? |

And here's the second half of the McDermot brothers, Cor. And if you dare call him Cornelius, he might kill you. Actually, it's a very likely possibility. He's 28 and grew up in Mississippi, basically taking care of his younger brother Will and his older sister. Since graduating high school ten years ago, he's moved around the country, taking whatever jobs he can, managing to get by. About two years he came to Cape Fear and has since taken over the local auto shop, in which he lives in a small apartment over with his cat that belonged to his previous girlfriend.
He's not much of one for relationships, he's not very good with dealing with people. He only ever really cared for his one girlfriend until she dumped him and he's been pretty broken about it since. He's more for fooling around, usually picking up women who walk in to his shop or at the local bar. He tends to keep to himself and is a man of few words. And now his little brother has stopped by for a stay, who he's glad to see, but it's turning things upside down a bit.
So, anyone need their car inspected? *wink* Or other plots? |

William McDermot had been gifted with a good life. He went to NYU on a full scholarship where he studied business. There, he met his fiancé, Stephanie and her wealthy well established father. He offered William an internship, then a well paying job, and took the young man under his wing. It was perfect. Finally, he had received everything he had wanted.
Then, one day, it just wasn’t what he wanted. He packed his things, bid goodbye to his job and fiancé and drove down to Cape Fear to stay with his brother. He needed time and space to prioritize his life. Why he would give up his New York life for the smaller, lest glamorous life over his brother’s auto shop, he didn’t understand. Still, it felt like home. The question is, will he ever go back? Or will his love and job be too much of a toll on who he really is; just a nice, simple boy from Mississippi.

I've got Lillia Adkins here. She's 25 and is an assistant librarian at the Cape Fear public library. Her parents moved her and her younger sister to Cape Fear when they were tiny, but her maternal grandparents have lived in town for a while. Her dad comes from a wealthy family, but he left them and their business when he went to college to pursue his own dreams, but that doesn't stop them from trying to get to Lillia and her sister Rose. Her parents have since left town to retire further north and her sister now travels the world, so Lils is dying to get out of town. And hopefully attend Rhode Island School of Design in the near future for art/art history.
She's pretty quiet and reserved, especially when it comes to boys and relationships, but can open up when she grows close to someone. She can be a bit snarky, mainly due to her being terribly bored with her life and having nothing better to do but sit behind the circulation desk at the library all day.

Hey Everyone! I'm bringing you Lily Graces. She's lived in Cape Fear all of her life. The Graces moved into the area shortly after the town was founded way back when, so her name is an old one in town. She a bit full of herself and a tad cocky, but she loves attention and she's been painting for as long as she can remember. It's one of the few things that she actually takes seriously. From ages three to six she had cancer but she went into remission and it hasn't come back since. She doesn't like to talk about it, but it's not something that she hides.
I'm pretty sure she's the youngest in the game at the moment. She's 17 and a Junior in highschool. She likes older men. She's friends with Lola Dallas; kinda, sorta, maybe involved with Daniel Archer; the neice of Elle Montgomery (who is a horrible influence on her!) from her mother's side.
I'm open to all other ideas for plot and storylines!

Hello I bring you Lola Dallas. Lola Dallas is new in town as in new by the three months. The story is that her and her dad needed a change of scenery and they moved for his job. Her father is an accountant so it isn't exactly believable about his job but Lola sticks to the story. In truth her mother is in Shady Grove and they moved to be closer to her, despite the fact Lola has yet to visit her. Lola is a senior in High School, eighteen years old.
She is friends with Lily Graces but that is about as far as I know for relationships. I am very open to any type of storyline. Lola is a very quiet but expressive with her features and with words she does say. She is very academic and plays piano, but she is not as innocent as she appears. Lola is actually very much into the parties, and getting up to know good. Rather manipulative and her father thinks she is his perfect little girl. I might also mention she has never actually been in a relationship but she has enjoyed many flings. She lately has turned her attention to older guys as the high school boys bore her.
So storylines, I am open for any. |

Daniel is from Leeds in England. He moved to Cape Fear in order to find his biological family. After graduating from university, he was told by his parents that he was adopted. It made perfect sense to him, since he stuck out like a sore thumb in everything from personality to appearance in comparison to his adoptive family. All he had to go on was his birthday, and a forged birth certificate. After months of searching, he found Cape Fear as a location of interest, and a good place to start searching. The only problem is, with all the turns his life has recently thrown at it, looking for his lost sibling has become difficult to do.
Daniel works at the Art Museum as the head manager. He specializes in forgery detection and falsification of documents. He's good at what he does, and loves his job.
In his spare time, he can be seen jogging, hanging out at the shore, out at the bar, or just hanging around.

Hello there! This is Gavin Keithley. He's 29 years old and a history teacher at Cape Fear Senior High School. His bio is open and can be read here so please take a look at it. In sum though he's originally from Dublin and grew up fairly well-to-do. He grew up somewhat obnoxiously but he settled down as he found a love of history in school. He attended Oxford University and is well-traveled. However what brought him to Cape Fear was an unfortunate circumstance. His parents who were bankers lost everything in the great economic recession in Ireland and also because they invested with Bernie Madoff. So he's come to teach here and send money home in the hopes of helping his parents who lost their retirement money and are living with relatives out in Dublin. He's not really a party guy but understands what it is to be a part of it. I'm looking for all kinds of storylines from friends, to fellow teacher colleagues, students who appreciate him being an unconventional history teacher (he tends to let students act out the sections they are reading so that history seems "living" and not so dead) and maybe some love interests, ex girlfriends, current loves and what not. He's a very easy-going guy but he can argue as well when he's passionate about a subject. So any storyline ideas you have toss them out here. I'd love storylines with everyone! |
