rules & such 01. Never ever take this game too seriously. Ever. Having fun is the golden rule. 02. Don't be a wanker. Blurring the lines of IC/OOC is not on. A mean remark said in-character does not mean the player holds anything personally against you. It's roleplaying. Fictional. Shazzam. 03. Adult themes are allowed (and encouraged), which is why we expect players to be eighteen years of age or older. Or lie about it and be mature. 04. Players drive the game forward with plot, not the Mods. We won't be controlling what your characters do or say. We might make suggestions or throw up ideas, but ultimately it's your character, their plot. 05. God-modding is never cool. You control your characters and no one else. Your characters aren't all-knowing unless they're God or maybe the Metatron. Lucifer may know more than he ought to as well, but that's besides the point here. 06. Due to the limited amount of characters available, the character limit is TWO per player. Originals characters are not allowed at this time. Maybe they will be once we have a proper cast filled out. 07. Activity requirements! Activity means more than just a journal post every few weeks or so. Actively threading and commenting to other posts is where it's at. We'll be looking for your participation in threads/RP logs and your interaction with other characters through the journals when we run periodic activity checks. If we see you lacking where activity is concerned, you'll get a warning and five days to prove to us you still want to be apart of the game. After that, you're out. 08. Shit happens, we know. If you need to take a hiatus, email the mods at ineffable.mods@gmail.com to give us a head's up. A week or two is okay, but a month is pushing it. If you need to quit, you can always rejoin us later granted the character hasn't been taken. 09. More rules may come up as the game progresses, but for now that's all! |
