Okay, Creeper McCreeperson: I was willing to pretend like you didn't exist so long as I didn't have to hear my voice broadcast over this computer talking about... about magic or something. Who even are you?!

This is so not cool. How... how does this even happen? I don't know you! It's not like we're... we're long lost... cousins or... or brothers or something!

I... don't know who Merlin is. Is he a dragon? No, that's a stupid question, dragon's don't breed with humans. Do they? Is he Viking? He can't be from Berk - Berk's not that big, and I'd know him. What tribe is he from?

And oh. I'm... Hiccup. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. Because out of all Vikings in all generations of Berk, I am only the third to be born a talking fishbone. Or at least, that's what it feels like

Wizard. What... does this have something to do with the whole magic thing that my voice the recording was talking about? Cause I'm pretty sure it means we can't be brothers.

...Berk is... well. All right. We're not that big. We're in the Barbaric Sea, next to Meathead Island, North Island and Cannibal Island. Which... uh, make up the... Barbaric Archipelago? Which is bordered by The Mainland, the Roman Empire and The Open Ocean, if I'm remembering my geography correctly.

... I can't tell if you're making fun of me Sneeze the what, though? If you're going to be properly Viking, you need to have a proper title to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies.

Yes. Wizards are magical. Sorcerer, I guess, is the more appropriate term. It's what I am.

I have no idea where any of that is. I'm from Manhattan myself.

I... have never heard of Manhattan. So I guess we're... in the same boat there.

So we're Hiccup the Horrendous, and Sneeze the Contagious? People are going to absolutely tremble in fear when they hear us coming. Or at the very least, tremble with laughter. We just need to get you a dragon and you'll be all set.

I mean... well. We would get you a dragon, but there... aren't any here. At least, I haven't been able to find mine.

I have a dragon. It's just a ring though. It's how I do magic, even though I don't need it anymore.

I can float things, set things on fire, shoot plasma balls at people, animate inanimate objects ... I'm just not sure I can do all of that here. I haven't tried flying yet, but I bet I could.

Think I'll probably just stick with Dave for now though. Balthazar might be confused about the name change.

I don't... how do people even use these things? The buttons are so small and ridiculous and you press one thing and you're completely redirected somewhere else and can't get back to anything.

Books. That's... a lot less complicated. Books and writing and drawing.

Oh hey, I apprenticed under Gobber back home for a while. Still do, technically, sorta. We used to build weapons and stuff, but there's... ah. Not really a need for that now.

At least, not usually. For the most part, we can avoid it now.

So you apprentice in... magic, or whatever, I guess?

No, the tiny one with the tiny buttons? That's probably your blackberry. The computer is the larger black rectangle. Mine was on my desk. You push a button on the front and pull the top part up and voila! Bigger keys, bigger screen.

I apprentice in magic, yes. But apprenticing in weapons building sound fun, too. I saw a girl the other day with a very large ax. You should meet her.
