i let the animals out the night of the ball, because i thought they’d attack the scientists and then we could get away. i stole amos’ wire-cutters and talked river into coming with me to watch out.

i was stupid and proud, and it got everyone else in trouble. no one deserved to be punished but me.

It is with heavy heart that I must inform all of you that the reports for the harvest are far worse than we initially believed. I fear we may not have enough stores to see us through the coming months as we so often do.

I shall be retiring to my room to pray for counsel on how best to gather the resources that we will need. As always I am open to suggestions but inquiries into anything else should be directed toward Hinrich until I have emerged.

I'll be in the meditation room until the timer runs out if anyone needs, or simply wants, company. There's hot tea and soft, calm noise. If anyone would like me to lead in guided meditation, I can, or any of the others skilled in that area are welcome to come and lead. Or we can simply sit and have some quiet company and conversation in a still place.

So do we want to talk about this timer?

Greetings! As you may have seen my introduction earlier last week or was it two weeks ago? Telling time here is so weird - or maybe not, considering my arrival coincided with a throng of mock-trials and everyone was in a tizzy- anyway, my name is Leslie Knope, and I am settled in and ready to offer the whole of my advice and services.

I have always had a passion for government, and a drive to always do what's best for my community, whether it be Pawnee or in this case, a congregation of multi-universe alien abductees in what I imagine the Betty Ford clinic might look like in the future. I was recently elected to a city council seat in beautiful Pawnee, and I have a long history of community service stretching all the way back to elementary school- including Model UN, Student Government, and leader of the Pawnee Goddesses.

Is there anything I can help you with? I've been going a little crazy itching to get my hands dirty.
