It wasn't that Archie hated the school. In fact, he was largely apathetic toward the entire concept of it. He just cherished these reprieves from the walls of Hogwarts, but really away from the sorts of characters that called those hollow halls home for nine months a year. Some days he really did question his own sanity.
That was why he had liked the library. People acted the way there were supposed in there. Or perhaps he was more his father's son than he cared to admit -- not that there was anything wrong with Anthony Goldstein, just that it was not who Archie saw himself as. His father always found Hogsmeade weekends to be a bit of a waste of time. Archie rather enjoyed the ritual, it certainly helped having a companion along for the ride.
"And this is where our tour from the castle to the quaint village of Hogsmeade will be stopping." He said, walking backwards down the main road just outside the town, his attention fully on Portia. "I will have to ask you to keep your belongings with you at all times. And please under no circumstance should you feed the third and fourth years. We feel it's best they survive on their own."
