So, here's what's up. I went on vacation, and forgot to make a post about it. Basically, I'm a loser. The plus side of this is that I didn't die, or break my computer, or fall into a comma! Hooray!

This is Emma and this is Ethan. He's a new grad student living in Las Vegas. He's Morpheus, the god of sleep! While he can't dream on his own, he can enter the dreams of other people. Don't worry, he can't turn them into nightmares or anything. He's just the guy there with the wings. All of his information can be found here and you can feel free to assume that he has been in any of your character's dreams! They probably won't know he's an actual person, but he can talk to them and junk. Yadda yadda yadda. I'm up for fun logs and junk.

So I figure I should introduce myself considering I did things reversed, but my name is Jackie and I've brought into this lovely game the incarnation of Hans Christian Anderson's Little Mermaid! Her name is Claire Kennedy, 18 years old, and currently living in LA with her older brother. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara and pretty much knows the city like the back of her hand, and misses it quite a bit, but she convinced her parents to let her move in with her brother to go to a city college in LA, so it all works out.

Anyway. Um, she's pretty shameless and excitable over the journals, but in person she's more awkward and shy, and she love love loves beaches. She's also a giant fan of the Unmarried Men (Nate's band) which is going to be loltastic. Um.

So, the little mermaid. She can't sing in tune, she's not graceful, and she doesn't have red hair. In fact she's more of a scene kid than anything, though only in part, and the only thing she's particularly good at is swimming, which is part of her attribute!

Her power is my favorite though ♥! If she falls in love or gets a crush on someone, she loses her voice. Basically the only cure is true love's kiss, or a confession of love. LOL. Granted she hasn't dated much >__>;

But, my aim is the captains son and I'm on sporadically so drop me an e-mail too, jaclyn.wilson@gmail.com, so plot is welcome!

I am having trouble juggling all my RP commitments, and with school starting next week, I am wary of running myself into the ground. So unfortunately, as Incarnate is the game where I've got the least invested character-wise, it's the one I'm going to have to drop. Sigh. If other stuff evens out, I will definitely come back, because we all know how much I love me some fairytales, but it sucks for me and for you if I'm just... here-but-not-really. So I hope I'm doing the right thing.

Sorry, everybody. I still adore you all!

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE MY DRAMA. I won't get into it, but let me just say that the reason I disappeared for like 2 freaking weeks was because we were moving and then the cable company couldn't spare five minutes to remove its head from its ass and hook up our cable/internet. But apparently I yelled at the right person today because we are hooked up and as soon as I have some more of the crap from my new room unpacked (like, enough to move around without traversing the current maze-like configuration of boxes that I call 'cardboard chic') I will be able to actually like, post stuff. Like omg.

The awards were given when there was a majority; a few awards got a scattering of nominations with no second vote for anyone. These were excluded. Of the fill-in categories, characters who did not already receive an award got one.

HI BELOVED PPLS.

Here's the deal: Jo and I are going on vacation. In fact, we're leaving the country.

I'll be leaving next week and I'll be gone through the end of August. Jo will only be around a few more days after me. In view of our absences, we trust you to be good little minions and follow of the rulez. If we get back and all the characters are pregnant and/or suicidal after going through a horrific natural disaster, we reserve the right to bop you all with pillow-sized marshmallows.

In our absence we're asking Beth to watch the game for us. She'll be responding to holds and keeping up our activity chart to see who is doing what. Activity Letters will not be sent during this time. We are, however, going to go back over the activity log, so please keep up with the game so we don't have to kick anyone when we get back, because that would be depressing. Applications are still welcome, but we will not be accepting them until we get back. If you've got an app or two that you want to play this month, get it in before Sunday, we'll try to get you added before we go. You can continue to send questions to the mod email (modsincarnate@gmail.com) and if Beth can answer them, she will, otherwise they will wait until our return.

I'm hoping I may pick up a wifi signal or two in London or Europe, but chances are I won't be able to.

I'm thinking I will be making up the awards Saturday, so it's your last chance to VOTE tomorrow!

Shane... fuck, last name. Why the hell do I even bother with last names. I THINK ITS FITZGERALD I'M TOO LAZY TO GO CHECK CAN SOMEONE FACT CHECK THIS FOR ME Y/N? anyway, SHANE, is the Skilful Huntsman from Grimm's tales where he shoots a dog and hooks up with a princess. So, because of this, he repulses dogs (they try to murder him) and he has a wonderful sniper eye going on so much that he spent 7 years in the royal army as a sniper in Afghanistan/Iraq/Kuwait/THE MIDDLE EAST in general. But he's not a douche 'cause he's Irish (see how that works?) aaaaaand, well.

Shane's a nomad, he moves around a lot and uses the mirrors/your couch. He probably sleeps in the Gardens if he can. So feel free to know him from the past, guys; it's only the last couple months plus he's been around, the military kind of limits how AWOL you can go when you're shooting things.

You know what I love? Orangina.
