Her eyes widened when he asked if everything was okay. Oh merlin, she probably just made him so nervous. "Oh no! I- No. Everything is just fine! I'm= Oh, I didn't mean to worry you!" Taking in a breathe, she lowered her voice a bit. "Actually, I er, I sneaked out." She wrinkled her face a bit and then completely relaxed when Marcus continued to talk to her.
Smiling, she let her shoulders fall a bit and pulled the hat off of her head. "Right. If I trusted the papers on your personal life, I don't think I'd be here at all." Realizing that she was still holding onto her purse, her cheeks flushed as she handed it to him. "Oh yea, er. Thanks."
Blushing slightly, she looked down to her shoes and then back up at Marcus. "Well. I uhm. Yea I was." She was a terrible liar, so there wasn't much of a point in pretending that she was too busy thinking about other people, though lately it seemed that people were certainly keen on thinking about her. She watched at he crossed over to the bar and she couldn't help but notice the well defined muscles in his back. Shouldn't he go put a shirt on or something? Well, actually she didn't want him to. She quite enjoyed the view.
She was about to apologize again at his statement when she stopped herself. "I'd love some wine." Taking a seat on his couch, she pulled off the large sweater she was wearing and set it next to her so she was now in a simple white tank top. For some reason, looking at Marcus made her feel overdressed or something. "So. What have you been doing tonight?"
