WHO: Alicia and Geoff
WHAT: Alicia feels bad for being a bitch. Again.
WHERE: Geoff's houseboat
WHEN: Tuesday late-afternoon
RATING: High for language
STATUS: In progress

It had been all of two days since Quidditch had ended and Alicia was going completely crazy. She literally had nothing to fill up all of her shiny new free time. So basically all she'd been doing was running and getting into people's business. She felt bad for being slightly rude to Geoff the other night, but for some reason his 'job' had just irritated the hell out of her at that particular moment. It absolutely drove her crazy that Geoff wasn't honest with her. It wasn't like she was some random bird off the street or anything. They'd been friends for ages. And while part of her knew that he was just following orders and trying to keep everyone safe by not saying anything, it still fucking sucked. Especially since Drew was more than happy to include her in his life.

Still. The world had too many relationship related problems at the moment. Between Drew, Mandy, Katie, Lavender, and subsequently Roger and Flint...Alicia really didn't want to add herself into that mix. Not that she was in a relationship with Geoff. But they were still friends and she knew she shouldn't have gotten so annoyed with him. She'd always known there would be secrets before she'd gotten involved with him past friendship and she knew there probably always would be. And so after running a few miles along the beach during the morning, she'd showered and thrown on some shorts and a tank before heading for Geoff's houseboat. She'd always found it weird that he lived on a boat. Didn't the Ministry pay better than that? Then again, it would have been more weird for Geoff to have some big extravagant place. That didn't really seem like him. Plus, she supposed, not many people would expect an Auror to live on boat, so it definitely worked to his advantage.

Once she was at Geoff's boat, she let herself on, pausing on the deck before going to look for him. It was earlier than when she usually dropped by. Maybe he wouldn't even be home. Or maybe he was doing some top secret shite or something. Or maybe he was with his ex. None of those were things that she particularly wanted to walk in on, so instead of searching him out, she stopped at the entrance to the lower quarters. "Geoff! I'm stealing your deck space," she called out, figuring if he was home and not busy, he'd let her know. And with that, she walked over to the edge of his deck and sat down, letting her legs hang over the side. Well, at least if he wasn't home she could take a nap in the sun or something. It wasn't like she had much else to be doing.

Lilith was annoyed. She'd been waiting for Geoff for a little over forty-five minutes now and had decided that it was time to go make use of his deck. She knew he had things to do and his job kept him rather busy but this was important. She had some issues she needed to discuss with him and he'd been purposely avoiding her. Not that she was surprised. Lil was impatient by nature and had always had trouble with waiting. She'd moved to England after she'd graduated from the Salem Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Unites States. A yank through and through, Lil was most certainly American. Sighing, she headed up the stairs. Her brows shot up in surprise when she heard a female voice. She hadn't known that Geoff was involved with anyone and her curiousity was most certainly piqued. Smiling, she looked down at her ensemble and dropped the cover up. So she was a little catty? It happened. Geoff had meant more to her than she'd let on and she knew the liklihood of them ever reuntiting was slim to none but it didn't mean she couldn't give it a try. Right?

Gold bikini and her lovely tan already in place, Lil headed above deck, a smile on her face. It took her a moment to realize who she was looking at but she recognized the girl. Lil enjoyed Quidditch and couldn't help but raise a brow, slightly impressed that Geoff had Alicia Spinnet on his deck. Alicia was, well, thin. Titlting her head to the side, Lil noted the similarities between them. She was surprised, to say the least, to find that Alicia looked remarkably like her. Except less endowed. Interesting. Same hair and eyes. Well, it couldn't be said that Geoff didn't have a type.

"Hello," Lil said, stepping forward. "I'm Lilith James." She gave the thin girl a smile. "You're Alicia Spinnet. I didn't realize Geoff was in with the Quidditch world. You're a brilliant player." Lilith genuinely was impressed and she rather liked the idea that Geoff was pining over her with this skinnier version of herself. "Geoff's not home but I expect he'll be around shortly."

Alicia hadn't heard anyone come up on deck and it wasn't until the first 'hello' that she stood up rather quickly and turned around. She'd really been content to just sit around on his boat, alone in the sun for a while. Alicia automatically returned the girls smile, though that faltered slightly when she very obviously knew who Alicia was. And was she....American? What a god awful accent. "Oh. Thanks," she said somewhat wearily when Lillith said she was a brilliant player. Lillith....Lillith....oh holy fuck wasn't that Geoff's exes name?

Alicia then took a moment to really look the other woman over. Merlin. Look at that fucking body. She was the most perfectly curved woman Alicia had ever seen and while Ali was usually all full of confidence in herself and her looks, it was like with one look this person had completely destroyed that. Realizing that after a moment she was staring awkwardly, she quickly looked back up and gave Lillith a smile. "Geoff and I were in the same year at school," she said with a small shug as a delayed response to Lillith's comment about his being in with the Quidditch world.

Alicia had heard that this girl was a total bitch. But so far she seemed extremely nice. Which actually really unnerved Alicia. She could deal with straight out bitches. But these ones who tried to hide it by being sweet were scary as fuck. Alicia was about to leave, not really wanting to be in this situation, when she realized that that was a stupid fucking idea. "If Geoff's not here, then what're you doing here?" she asked, curiously. Of course, it was hard to refrain from making somewhat rude comments, but Alicia figured she'd hold back until Lillith decided she was done with this nice thing.

Lil sat down next to Alicia, letting her legs hang over the balcony. "I just had something I needed to talk with Geoff about," she said, resting her chin on the bar. So, Alicia was another Gryffindor. Interesting. Lil had spent a lot of time with Gryffindors and she knew that it would usually lead to loud arguing and the like. They didn't have houses at Salem and she'd never understood why the English deemed it necessary to split up their students. Of course, America had a different mindset. "I'm sure he'll be back soon. I assume he went into the offices." Lil had been involved in a case with Drew and Geoff and she'd been on the opposite side of the law. Smuggling in illegal ingredients, she'd easily made Geoff when he entered in undercover. Of course, she'd actually fallen for him and while he may think that she purposely played him, that wasn't entirely true.

Geoff's day had been long and arduous and he just wanted to go fucking crash on his damned deck for a couple hours. He'd been up all night, working with member of the Ring and digging up as much information as he could. Brocklehurst had owled him and let him know that she would be going into the Ministry to make her statement and be questioned. That'd be fucking brilliant. He was looking forward to watching her get grilled.

Stepping onto his deck, he stared at the sight in front of him. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Part of him just wanted to fucking turn around and leave. It was rather annoying really. Fucking Lilith. Geoff sighed, pushing his sunglasses up and moved to drop a light kiss on Ali's head. "Lil," he said, raising a brow. Lil stood up and smiled, slightly shaken by the small, affectionate kiss. "Hello, Geoffrey."

He looked her up and down and rolled his eyes. "For fuck's sake. Go put some clothes on." Glancing down at Ali, he hauled her to her feet. "I see you've met Lilith."

Alicia raised an eyebrow when Lilith sat next to her. Fucking weird. Geoff had given Alicia permission to punch her, right? Because Ali really really wanted to. But she felt like punching the girl unprovoked might just...lead to more problems. And if she really was as bad as everyone made her out to be, Alicia figured it wouldn't be long until she was given an opportunity for violence. Alicia gave a small nod when Lil said Geoff would probably be back soon. God this was so weird. Although, Alicia was slightly surprised that Lil had understood anything she'd said. Most Brits had difficulty with that. Americans usually didn't stand a chance. Alicia would almost rather have the woman be bitchy than this. Alicia thought about breaking the silence by asking where in America she was from, but then Alicia realized that she really didn't care. Plus, Alicia tried her hardest not to communicate with criminals.

When she felt the kiss on her head, Alicia couldn't help but jump slightly. Christ. She hadn't even heard him show up. She didn't bother saying anything while the two said their short greetings to one another and then stood up when he helped her. She wanted to laugh when he told his ex to put clothing on but...as she looked over the other girl again, Alicia had a hard time believing that any bloke would want that covered up. Hell, covering that body up would be a bloody crime against humanity. But on the other side, Alicia would really rather not having to look at it since she could feel herself growing more and more uncomfortable with her poor excuse of a figure.

She gave Geoff a small smile when he mentioned meeting Lilith. "I have indeed. Very interesting......accent on that one," she said. It wasn't like there was a point in saying how bloody hot the girl was. No logic in pointing out the obvious and all that. "I should be going," she said, a bit ashamed at her own cowardice. But really, it's not like Alicia had a snowball's chance in hell of competing with Lilith. So why bother sticking around and torturing herself?

Geoff rolled his neck, feeling tense and annoyed that he was in this situation. Lil was... fuck. Nobody should be allowed to look like that. Let alone your ex. Sighing, he ignored Lil for the moment and turned to Alicia. "Don't go," he murmured, brushing her hair off her face and dropping a light kiss on her forehead. He was sure Lilith would leave or something. Turning back to his ex, he raised a brow. "What're you doing here?" he asked, flatly. He had no idea why she was here and what it was she wanted with him but he was damned sure he wanted to find out.

Lil's eyes flashed between them and a flair of jealousy burst through. She hadn't expected there would be something between them. "I was in England. I thought I'd stop in to talk to you. Especially since you weren't so welcoming the last time I tried." Lil crossed her arms, starting to feel annoyed.

Geoff snorted and rolled his eyes. "That should've told you something," he said, annoyed as fucking hell. Lil sighed as she looked at him. "Geoff," she murmured, running a hand through her hair. "Can we please just talk?" Geoff looked at her, remembering the girl he'd once loved and now he just... he didn't feel that way at all.

"Not today," he said, looking at her. "Alicia's here. Later."

Lil nodded and gave a small smile to Alicia. "Sorry," she said, shrugging. Grabbing her clothes off the chair, she covered up and headed off the boat. "I'll owl you and we'll have lunch some time."

Geoff just nodded, not really looking forward to anything like that. At all. Fucking hell. Turning back to Ali, he raised a brow. "You didn't hit her?" he asked, amused. "I'm semi-impressed."

Those small little kisses from Geoff were throwing Alicia off. Sure he was usually affectionate and all that but it was also usually in private. And certainly not in front of his ridiculously good looking ex. She hoped he wasn't doing it just to piss his ex off or anything. She watched the exchange between the two with interest and slight...disgust. Alicia brought her arms up and crossed them in front of her, suddenly not so thrilled with her twelve year old boy's body she had going on. Katie Bell was an idiot. Alicia was never going to try to have anything more with Geoff than what she was lucky enough to have now because who would possibly want her crazy figureless self after they'd had someone like Lilith? And she certainly wasn't going to bother coming over to his place unannounced again. Extreme boredom was better than this.

She raised an eyebrow when he said he didn't want to talk then said Alicia was there, as if that was a perfectly acceptable reason. Then again, Lilith probably wanted to talk about Auror/Spy/Illegal related things so...maybe it really was the only explanation necessary. And of course, that just told his ex that Alicia had no idea about any of it and how serious could they be if Geoff wasn't honest with Ali? Which would just boost up Lilith's confidence if she had any desire to try to win Geoff back. And why the hell was Alicia freaking out and reading into this so much? This was all ridiculous and Alicia didn't want to be that jealous girl. It was exhausting.

Alicia gave a small, very forced smile to Lilith when she apologized then watched as she left, not really thrilled at the thought of these two having lunch. No man in their right mind could deny a girl that looked like that. When Lilith was gone and Geoff turned back to Alicia, she gave a small shrug. "She didn't give me a reason. She was perfectly nice. Unfortunately." Of course, that just annoyed her more. She'd really been looking forward to getting to punch the perfectly shaped, gorgeous, criminal ex of Geoff's.
