Katie relaxed into Cormac, not sure she even really wanted to talk about it but she could talk to him. He'd known her forever and they had history. Katie smiled at Madam Rosmerta. She had a soft spot for her. They'd gone through the same ordeal and Rosmerta had always told her she could come around to talk to her whenever she'd felt like it. "Because somehow, my life had turned into something so ridiculously dramatic and aside from being verbally assaulted and abused by half your team," Katie shrugged and sighed. "It's just a mess and seriously? Slytherins are the worst people alive and I can't believe Adrian Pucey is my brother. It makes me want to... kill him."
Madam Rosmerta handed her a frothy, warm butterbeer, just like she had when Katie was a kid and when she'd been down over a Quidditch loss or something. "Thanks," she said, smiling, raising the glass to her lips. Taking her head off Cormac's shoulder, Katie looked at him, amused. "I feel like a kid drinking this." She took a sip and sighed blissfully.
"Anyway," she said, setting her glass down. "How are you?"
